Ally & Connor Update

A few of you have asked me how Ally and Connor are getting on. I don't want to "jinx" things by being too positive, but they do seem to have declared a truce for the time being.

The other day they were caught napping together:

And today they actually sat on the SAME CHAIR for a few minutes:

I am still keeping them apart totally at night (which was when the worst of the fighting was taking place), so we will just keep our fingers crossed, and say a BIG THANK YOU to all the wonderful folks here at PT for your continued prayers, well-wishes and support.

Oh my....look at Connor's belly. You sure are feeding him really well. I will try not to jinx you either but it is really nice to see that they are getting along a little better. Seeing them both on the chair together is a site that is never seen in my house.

It's a start! :D They look so cute together.

I haven't seen Zam and Logan cuddling (they might when I'm at work), but now and then, I'll catch her licking his head and face when they pass each other. It makes me melt!

It looks very good!

Filou and Tigris can be found cuddling and in some rare cases they spend the night in one nest in the middle of my cover (don't ask where I am during that -getting backaches I think:rolleyes:)-

but there are nearly daily fights and once a month you can see a sq of 5 millimetres of fur missing- either at F or at T!

Should I tell that even when I was 18 years old I was still fighting with my sister so that one of us had a long scratch, the other one bites in the arm:eek:

(Of course I would see it differently if one was bullying the other constantly!)

Awww...it's so good to see Ally & Connor getting along again. Hopefully it will continue and things will calm down with them.

No jinxing here! It is great to see them together, and here is hoping that things do continue. I tell you, Julie, daily cat fights do not mean they can't tolerate one another. Ally and Dakky are littermates, and probably get along the LEAST of everyone!


I am hoping for the best. For Ally and Connor, of course, and YOU TOO!

They must have had a kitty pow wow to discuss the rumors they heard going around about Meowmmy being very worried. So... they decided to call a truce!!! Good job Ally and Connor .... very good kitties!!! :)

Ally looks a bit suspicious of Connor in the chair picture, but that's such an improvement over your previous updates :) I truly hope they are learning how to live with each other so you don't have to rehome Connor. Fingers are hurting from being crossed so much, but who cares if it helps those two!
