I thought I would share a few pictures of my mom's babies that I took yesterday. I will go in the order of her taking them in.

The first is Cucumber. She is 7 years old and the mother to Buttercup, Midnight and Ma-Gee.

This is Ma-Gee. She is 6 years old (and a momma's girl)!!Ma-Gee is considered a Van Patten pattern, she is completely white on the one side and then she has black spots on her other side.

Next we have Midnight (the only boy). I truely think he is part Siamese because he has the narrow face and the meow like one....and his sister is a Lynx Point.

The last of Cucumber's babies is Buttercup. She was not expected to live as she was deathly sick with pneumonia by the time my mom found her. Buttercup is a Lynx Point mix.

My mom took in Tiger-Lily the year after she rescued Cucumber. Tiger-Lily is the mom to Rascal, Figaro, and Lily-Mae. It is hard to beleive that T-Lily actually had 4 babies (we had another boy named Rufus but he passed away). She is so very tiny, weighing only 5 lbs.

This is Rascal. If you notice, she actually has the best seat in the house....right in front of the heater vent.

This is Lily-Mae. She is the spitfire of the family. If you notice the lamp in the picture....well, Figaro (picture of him coming up) he managed to break it yesterday.

And last but not least Figaro. Many of you may remember that we needed prayers for Figaro about 2 months ago. He fell out of a tree and dislocated his hip. Well, he is doing much better....until my mom almost killed him last night for breaking the lamp. He still has a dislocated hip and most days he does really well with it, and then on some days, he does really badly and limps alot.

Beautiful kitties!! And I'm so glad that Figaro survived the lamp breaking!!!! I can remember when my childhood cat, Tigger, knocked over an antique lamp my mom had.........thought he had seen the end of his life, but she got over it, and bought a new shade for it, and forgot about it....thank goodness!!!!!

What sweet kitties she has there. That is nice of her to take them in and give them such a great furever home. :)

Your Mom is so luck to have such beautiful babies and to have ALL of them. I have a question about Fargo's dislocated hip. I have a kitty that I thought at first, had a discolation (Amy) on her left side back hip. It quivers ,wobbles and shakes as she sits or stands but she uses it like normal in running and jumping. Sometimes she is able to do what she wants to do, sometimes she can't because it won't work right... How did and does it act, anything like I described with Amy?

They are all so cute but I'm especially fond of Midnight, he is gorgeous! I'm a big black kitty fan now that my Jazzy girl is in my life.
