I should say found one of my husbands Cichlids, they really are his babies more then mine. He's a pro when it come to raising African's. He can breed the best where others can't....the pet shop love him. :)

Anyway he has these two yellow Cichlids, can't even come close to saying or spelling the name but we thought they where dead, we hadn't seen them in so long. Turnes out they where only plaing hide and go seek.
This is the female poping her head out. We belive she has some babies in there.

The male finally decided to get some swimming in.

Here is a pic of some of his other Cichlids. I just love his tank, he did such a good job, making sure there is lots of hidding places for them to feel safe. I get tired of seeing friends tanks with nothing in it, fish need cover to be happy. I know I wouldn't like living in a home with bare walls and floors. ;)

It's so peace full to just sit and watch these guys. He has about 80 fish in here but you never see them all at one time, so it is like playing hide and go seek to find a certain fish.:D

Once, one of our inch long algea eaters dissapeared from a 10 gallon tank... for a MONTH! We assumed he had somehow GOTTEN OUT and the dog got him! Then one da,y I walk by, and here he is sucking on the glass. He frequently goes missing now. ^_^ He must have found a way under a shell or something under his gravel.
