WARNING---if you don't like to read confusing threads then maybe you shouldn't read this.
This is a thread for all the parties at PT. Anyone can start a party, all you have to do is tell people that there will be a party. You can post as much as you want, and about whatever you want .
The parties do not require an invitaion, everyone is welcome to come and share your thoughts on anything and everything. (that is appropriate for PT)
We do not serve food or drinks here, but feel free to bring anykind of food or drink you want.
Everybody has to help clean up after the parties.
And remember--please keep it clean for everybody
--be nice, don't critize people or argue here

If you think you can handle that, then feel free to join the parties:D

Last night it was 20 degrees, and I LOVED IT!!:D I was outside playing with the dogs at midnight with only a t-shirt and some shorts on! I LOVE THE COLD!!!:D :D :p

I never thought that I would make it. But I did. I made it to the big 1000. I am so proud of myself. I know that all of my posts have not been great, but I am just really happy that I finnally made it to pillarhood. Tobey and I are celebrating. Tobey is saving the world while I have music on loud and party with the dogs. What could be more better then this?

I just thought that since there were so many posts in there (over 800 if you don't remember) that I would delete it, it must have been taking up a lot of room.

A lot of the posts had only one of two words in them.

I'm really not mad about it, but yeah, it annoys me when threads are deleted. I think we should leave it to Karen & Paul to decide what's taking up room & what's not.

I personally think once there are replies in a thread that the thread started should lose the ability to delete it. It no longer 'belongs' just to them, IMO.

I don't care about my post count ,and this didn't affect it so that's not in the least why I'm annoyed. It bugs me because it never fails that I go search for a thread and find it's been deleted and I know what I was looking for was in there.

I agree with Micki, I like to go back and read some of the old threads. When you go back and can't find them, it is very disappointing. I am not worried about losing MY posts.

I edited because I don't want to hurt the feeling of Dogz. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

I agree with Micki too. I think we should have threads like these when we're just having fun or whatever. Its not all about making the post counts go up, its just fun to have a party like that:p I also like to read back on those posts.
But it doesn't really matter, I'm not mad or anything.:p

I generally get upset when people delete threads, but I have to agree with Dogz on deleting the one she did. A thread where almost every post has just a couple words in it is pretty pointless. Its really not that big of a deal. Post counts don't mean anything.

Like I said in the other thread, it is quality not quanity.:)

If my 'Dogz' account got messed up for some reason and I had to make a new account, it wouldn't matter that I lost 4,000 posts, because that number really doesn't mean anything.

Post count numbers don't matter nearly as much as post quality. But if someone decides to delete a thread, I suggest they do what I do when deleting a thread - send an email or PM to everyone in the thread that it has been deleted, so we don't have confused people around, and threads just worrying about post counts!
