I woke up this morning with a terrible headache, most likely caused by the small earthquake we had shortly before I woke up. Boomer could obviously tell that his Mommy wasn't feeling very well, so he let himself be snuggled and used as a soft warm and furry little pillow. I'm sorry that the lighting is so horrible The sunlight coming in through the window was extremely bright and there really wasn't a good angle to take the pic from without moving myself and Boomer.

Ahhh, they do know when their mommies aren't feeling well. Pouncer tried to help me with my migraine yesterday by making bicuits on my tummy (thoughtful, but hurt more than helped!) Boomer looks oh so contented to have mommie on the floor with him.

You said there was an Earthquake - how bad was it? They say we had a few in my area right before Christmas but I never felt them!

we have little earthquakes all the time. I'd venture to say at least weekly. Generally the only way I can tell we are having one is if I suddenly feel dizzy and sick at my stomach. The ones that shake the whole building don't make me feel nearly as bad as the little "earthshakes" I don't think there was any damage from this one. My hubby said he was lying in bed and just noticed the curtains rocking back and forth a bit.:)

I think all kitties can tell when their owners are not feeling well, Princess does the same thing when I'm sick, about a month ago I had the flu, I was in bed all week by docters orders, and my hubby said he would leave and all the cats woud be in bed with me and when he came home, they would still be there. And that is rare, because they noramly come one at a time to be petted. :) Your Kitty is so adorable!! Im glad he is a snuggler to you when your sick, it helps you get better faster! :D :D :) :)

awwww...these are really sweet:) Boomer does look happy to be a helpful pillow. Yes, like some of the others here - you know I get the migraines (guess I gave them to you!!) and I love to hear the kitties purr. (Take two tabbies and call me in the morning was one funny comment I got). Good boy Boomie! Helping meowmie to feel better!! That is so sweet how they sense our feelings and try to help.

What a cuddly cute kitty cat! Great pics! They do know when you are upset! All the cats I've ever had, no matter how affectionate they are, were there for me when I was upset!

yes, it is sweet how kitty's show that they care:)

the earthquake was just a tiny one. I remember the first time that I ever felt an earthquake. My hunny and I were sitting at the computer and Paul's leg was moving, so I told him to stop shaking it. He just said "I'm not". It was then that we noticed the blinds on the window waving back and forth and that things were moving across our computer desk. It was so funny because of how calm we both were. We just looked at each other and said "Oh, we just lived through our first earthquake, cool" :D :D
