We're back - and Fister too

We've had a a wonderful Christmas in England - came back yesterday evening. Fister got home today without any of us getting injuried and he's extremely happy, purring away and checking everything out. He even went under the duvet while John was reading in bed this afternoon (very unusual), and has been there for several hours!

The moment he arrived at the cattery, he was hissing like mad at his neighbor, a white female - and at me! :eek: However, the woman (who has been running this cattery for 40 years) told us that he was out and about every day with the other cats in the corridor between the cages and they all got along well. :)

We stayed with John's family most of the time and his niece had brought her cat Pippa, a 4 year old black female, so we weren't completely catless.

When we get our pictures on the computer, we'll post some.

Oh, and Happy New Year to everybody!! :D

I'm beginning to wonder about that. :confused: OK, Fister has eaten, but not much, and last night we heard him drink a lot. However, he haesn't been in the litter box yet. :eek: He has spent literally all night in our bed, mostly under John's duvet - and even mine a few times! Most unusual. We've had headbumpies for all 10 days we were away and more!! He follows us around wherever we go. Yesterday, he was sneezing a few times, but otherwise seems OK. Perhaps it's just a bit of a cold.

Anyway, we'll ring the woman and ask a few questions tomorrow.

We're about to put our pics on the computer, so patience! ;)

Hum.... All separations involve a little stress for us & the
furkids. Maybe Fister's just caught a little case of sniffles.
Even if he might enjoy the change & adventure of the cattery,
I'm sure he missed you & John very much.:) Hope he's o.k.:)

Aaaahhhh yes....everything is right in Fisterland again. :D He looks positively thrilled to be back home and lounging in front of the computer. :D
