Okay I`ve heard lots of different names for it but what do you call a soda? If you have a different name what is it? I obviously call it a soda, but sometimes I say I`m gonna go get a coke and don`t acctually come back with a Coke!

You can select multiple choices!

I voted other cause I always say I'm going to get a drink. It doesn't matter if it's a coke, tea or water.

yep it does, someone did an artical in my paper a while ago, and the majority said differnet thing depending on where they lived, even pizza, like here people order delux, quebec it was all dressed, and some where else it was "a pizza with everything on it" it was the same with soda, pop, and coke.

andyway I call it coke or pop. soda just sound REALLY weird to me.

It's funny you all say pop, because I always make fun of people when they say pop instead of soda. Pop sounds wierd to me. lol. I'm sure there's some Gawd Awful California things that I say that make you all cringe. :p

LMAO. When our friend came out from Michigan, he had a field day with my vocabulary. I'm still getting emails from him mimicking my California vocab.

Just to name a few that peeved him:
Hella
Freakin'
Sick (that's a good thing)
Dude!
Sweet
Totally

edit, I forgot a big one....
I say "pimp" alot. Like "That's so pimp" that means it's really cool. ;)

LOL! You know it. ;) I say "Dude" constantly, it's one of my everyday words. :p

I'm so bad about it that my son has started calling me dude. He'll be like "Dude, can I have some breakfast?" I always have to correct him. Then he'll be "Sorry, man." ('Man' is my husband's word.)

LOL Yeah I call them suckers

The last meal of the day is also supper. Dinner is what we call lunch. LOL

I used to call it coke, it didn't matter if I was talking about pepsi, sprite, Dr. Pepper.. it's all coke. But after moving to Arizona and being around lots of people that seemed confused by me calling everything Coke I started to call it soda. Sometimes if I'm in a silly mood I'll call it pop, for some reason pop just sounds kind of silly.

I'm from Wyoming. It's "pop" here. Always.

A "soda" is an ice cream soda ... from the soda fountain. Always.
