Darn it kim, I don't have one of those perfect men, mine hates my cats! Guess you will have to put up a page about men that hates cats, the evil lot of them!! LOL!

Ladies like Kim says, if you find one like that Glue him to the chair and don't let go!!!!!!!!! You are indeed lucky to have somebody that shares the same love of animals you do. LUCKY!!!!!:)

Kim that is another wonderful idea!!! I emailed you a bunch of bag and box kitties this morning. I guess now I will have to send the hubby next! Yes, I am one of the lucky ones!!:D :D http://petoftheday.com/talk/images/our_smilies/biggrin.gif He gripes and groans but Lord help anyone who tried to hurt one of our kitties (or any animal for that matter). I just slip him some hairball remedy once a week and he's ok!!http://petoftheday.com/talk/images/our_smilies/wink.gif

Kim, this picture shows it all. It's priceless.

I also have a man who's compassion for animals is not as strong as mine, but it will do.
He even built me a cat shelter to put on the gallery for the stray's that I feed. After almost 20 years of putting up with me and my love for animals, he's a keeper:D

Anybody got one I can borrow, or maybe wait until my old man goes to sleep, sneak over and put one of the cats on him then sneak back being very quite, and get the camera and take a quick picture and try to make everybody believe he loves my cats?

No? Well I thought I might try that, but if you think it won't work......

LOL a perfect man? I don't think those exist do they? If so, where can I get mine?!!:D

Actually Dan LOVES the cats, in fact he moans and groans when I don't let Cheetah come sleep with us at night. He calls Houdini his "little girl". He also loves and adores Ewok too. I think he would have a gazillion cats if he could, but he would never admit that. :p

I will try to find a good pic of him and the cats, or try to snap one. :) I am going to send you some bag kitties though. :D

What a great idea Kim.:) There are no men in my life so the closest man who likes cats is my Dad. I only have a pic of him with two of the neighborhood cats. Will that do?

One of them passed away and my Dad is still sad about it. Sometimes he used to take a brush on his walks so he could brush Coco and Zeke. Here's the picture.

It just reminded me of an add in a paper (see below)...

the "men"..actually boys in my life are my Calvin & Hobbes. They are the most loyal of wittle men I've ever known. I must also admit that I've never been involved w/ anyone who doesn't like cats even thought they wouldn't admit it. Silly thing is that other than me they hide from anyone except my brother and boyfriend. So they clearly miss a male figure...LOL ;) :) But they are ole mama's boys.
PS to Richard...missing bits are a big plus for some women..LOL:eek:

Kim this whole idea is better than you know!! I guess I had never really thought about it but since I have joined PT and met other cat loving people I don't feel so alone. Not to mention finally meeting other people that have more cats than I do!! My family, friends, and co-workers think I'm nuts. I can handle that because they have all had to take a very serious chewing from me about animal rescue. I pretty much get left alone these days because my good friends understand how passionate I am about the whole thing. I can take what they dish out because my love for my cats and ALL homeless animals means more to me than words from stupid people.
ANYWAY! My husband has probably not been able to feel the "I'm not alone" part before. He has always been able to blame me for our cat overload situation. I don't care because it has always been the easy way out for him with family and co-workers. And that has always been ok with me as long as I know better. He loves our cats and is as guilty or responsible for how many we have as I am.
Now on to the true purpose of this post...I showed my husband (Joe) your website last night. He got a real kick out of seeing some of our cats on your bag and box kitty pages. Then I told him about the perfect man page and showed him the proud cat dads that had already been posted. I saw this big grin come across his face. I told him that I was sending his picture in and he just smiled. I also noticed that there was a lot more cat interaction with him after he saw that. I think he now realizes that he is not ALONE! He is not the only man that loves cats! He also saw that it is not always crazy old women that live alone with a housefull of kitties and eat cat food for dinner!!http://petoftheday.com/talk/images/our_smilies/biggrin.gif
I just want to say thank you for your beautiful website and to let you know that it may be doing more good than you know!!:) http://petoftheday.com/talk/images/our_smilies/smile.gif

WOW, thanks so much for telling this! My husband gets so sick of hearing all the "manly" cat-bashing stories at work .... it really angers him. He does let others know about our cats, but he tries to stay out of the hoodlum stories as he knows he is fighting a losing battle with those LOSERS!!!

Yes, tell your wonderful husband he is definitely not alone, he is one of the elite group of very caring and WONDERFUL breed of men!!!! :)

Wow Jen, Catmandu looks awful cute with his cat. I think that is a great picture!! I think when you see a guy that loves animals, then you know he has a gentle heart. Great quality!

I personally like the look on Moose's face. It is half way between "Thanks, dad, I love you too" and "OK, OK.............not in public, please" ;)

Aaawww Karen, how cute!!!
Unfortunately Nellie isn't a lapcat and she's not fond of being held either...so all you would get in those photos is a "pouting princess"...
But she loves however to spend her day with my husband at the computer...she's his constant catalysator...

My husband says, she's the purrfect co worker and there's always time for a nice cuddle...
