I'm putting together a CD [or two] with the best songs of 2003. I normally do this every year, and I figured I would ask all of you for some suggestions as to what to put on them.

I'm up for any kind of music, I like almost everything...rap, R&B, country, alternative, pop, etc. Any song suggestions? :D

Front Porch Lookin' In - Lonestar
The Good Stuff - Kenny Chesney
Celebrity - Brad Paisley
I Wanna Do it All - Terri Clark
I Believe - Diamond Rio
These Days - Rascal Flatts
Chicks Dig It - Chris Cagle
Stay Gone - Jimmy Wayne
What Was I Thinkin' - Dierks Bentley

(sorry if it's all country, but they're the best songs) :)

Country is last on my list (I like a bit the older stuff -- but then again I like the older stuff of most music genres.), but there's a huge long list of other great songs.

Def. stay away from Outkast's new album (ask Valerie, she bought is while she was here!)

Ummm... All of the song's on Nelly's new CD...

Iz U, King's Highway, Ride Wit Me (Remix) ... ALL of them, honestly.

Tupac's new cd, although most of them are just remixes of his older songs. They're great.

And Hey Ya from Outkast. That's about the only good song besides the way you move. Although I haven't listened to the whole cd(there are 2), I was extremely disappointed. I got screwed.
Forgot to mention Breathe by Blue Cantrell.

I, personally, don't like it. I just didn't think Valerie would like that. It was on the radio when we were in her car and she said something like "Oh I love this song".

My son loves all the country music, he is one of those that really keeps up with country music.

When we were in Cherokee, North Carolina, they had one of those bulls and they played Beer for my horses, and my son rode that bull, it was so funny, even my daughter rode that old bull!!

But anyway that is when I started likeing the song Beer For My Horses.:)

Gawd, I HATE country music. So, no suggestions from me in that genre, that's for sure! I personally think that Beer for my Horses song is the stupidest thing I've heard in a long, long time ... although I have to admit, I haven't listened to it long enough to figure out what the heck it is supposed to mean.

Calling All Angels - Train
Bring Me to Life - Evanesence
Drift Away - Uncle Kracker featuring Dobie Gray
Unwell - Matchbox Twenty
White Flag - Dido
Big Yellow Taxi - Counting Crows featuring Vanessa Carlton
Someday - Nickelback
Bright Lights - Matchbox Twenty

I can't remember what I liked from the beginning of the year .. that was a long time ago. LOL

I am not much on country music but there is some I like.

No, I don't think I have heard that.

Oh, I like some of the old stuff ... some of the real stuff. I love Patsy Cline, and I have just about every Don Williams CD out there. It's just the new stuff that make me ill. Fake accents, stupid songs ... I'll pass.

Twisterdog, I like the newer country music songs better, but I do like Patsy Cline, and I like Don Williams and that hat he always wore! Dwight Yokum too. I am just not into country music that much. Now I pretty much like all the songs my daughter likes! It kind of grows on you.

"Back of your Hand" Dwight Yoakum

I like All Genres of music....

But "Hurt" was his Epitaph......An Anthem...As Trent Reznor said...Once Johnny Cash has Covered one of your songs,It is no longer Yours....

Dwight Yoakum always turns out Good,Ingenuitive,Unclassified Music
