Look what we found the other night!!

After a long day at the hospital with my husband, we came home to Ginger barking up a storm at the side of the house. She had something cornered, we figured it was a wild animals of some sort, so very carefully we walked up to check things out.


Here is Ginger's wild animal she found. ;)

Thats what we thought too or at least a sister. Cali was a born here from a stray cat we found in our heater vent, but I had her mother fixed right after. So we are wondering if maybe there is a stray male around here that could be cali's dad and he found another female. They just look so much alike it's weird.

They have got to be related look at the colouring so much alike !!!

I'm also worried about that too. I'm afraid there might be others around somewhere. Thats the problem living out in the counrty to many people drop cats off in the woods without caring or thinking whats can happen. :mad: :mad: I walk around all the time now hoping I might hear or see the other kittens, but so far no luck. In my heart I know theres got to be more out there, enless they didn't make it. :( :(

Oh, by the way, the new guy is a boy, I don't know why I said she, I guess I'm just use to them being females.

So far he is just called the litle mean guy. LOL He hisses ever time anything new gets near him. So My husband calls him meany. I need a name, I'm running out of idea I've named so many by now.

Are you sure he doesn't belong to someone? I mean a lot of people have calico cats. There could be a family out there looking for him! I would check around first to make sure someone did not lose a kitten or he lost his way and has a mommy or daddy who is looking for him. Most ferals are not as tame as it sounds your guy is, which is why it sounds as if he belonged to someone.



OK just read he is hissy. Perhaps he is a feral then. But please make sure first. I just lost my Mystic and I always think someone kept him and thought he was a stray before even attempting to find an owner. :(

I understand your thinking but i'm pretty sure he was a stray. You could tell he had never seen a human/eating in awhile, before when we found him. Plus we live way way out in the country with only two neighbors for miles and I have already talked to them. He was just to ruff looking for any bodys pet and honestly if he did belong to someone they did a really bad job caring for him.

I just can't see a kitten that age/size making it the miles he would have had to travel to get to our place. To many wild animlas around here, we are in bobcat heaven around here.

But I will keep a ear out to see if anyone is missing a kitten. Thanks
