Today was such a gorgeous day and WARM!!! It was in the 50's. I decided to take Keegan to the new resevoir for a run!! She had a great time but when I got home I had to give her another bath, myself a shower and wash my car!!!
They have a walking track all around it and as we were driving by there were 2 couples walking together with their older Golden and yellow lab. Didn't get the GR's name but could tell he/she was older b/c it was greying around the face. The lab's name was Tobasco. They followed us until we stopped. Here is the Golden.

Then here is the Yellow Lab, Tobasco.

Keegan is a gorgeous girl - muddy or otherwise! Staci I love the last pic especially where she is "smiling." :) We too have had unusually warm weather. Strange! It looks like you had a wonderful day (except for the clean-up you had to do later! :p )

Awww! Keegan is still adorable, even all dirty!

I bet she's nice and soft after her bath.

Our weather down here is STRANGE all of the time. It's very very cold, then very hot, then cool, the freezing. Normally it's VERY cold in the morning/night time and VERY VERY hot in the afternoon. I hate it!

Ok, Tommy is in love with Keegan too (hey Daisy, can he have two girlfriends? :p )

What a happy sweetheart! It has been fairly warm here too, well for MN. By yesterday most of the snow melted, but then last night we got a new covering :o

Great pictures, Staci!!! Looks like Keegan had a great time. But glad I wasn't with you - giving five dogs baths wears me out!!! Did Keegan notice the geese? There are some that are near the BG dog park and the dogs go crazy when they see them --- or hear them!

I have a question............do you bathe her inside or outside?? My dogs are so dirty that I am tempted to use the cold water and give them a bath outside!!!! :o

Keegan, you look wonderful and you obviously had a grand time!!!! :)

Even here in FL it's been really cold, and I don't like giving them baths in the bathtub, because it's harder to get all of the soap out. So, what I do is get a bucket of warm water to pour over them after their bath.:D

Sorry, I know that wasn't directed towards me but I thought i'd share :)

Thanks everyone! I only bathe her outside when its hot in the summer. As dirty as she was she would have been like a popsicle when I was done if we were outside and me too!! Even tho is was warmer, it wasn't that warm!
My bathtub had a layer about 1/4 inch thick of mud and sand on the bottom of the tub!!! I had to rinse and rinse and then I scrubbed it real good. My tub is old and not the best anyway, so that is why I do it there. If I get a new tub, I might have to reconsider.
I kep rinsing Keegan and rinsing her. I kept telling her I didn't know if her tail would ever be the same!!! It had so much sand in it!

Oh, she usually ignores the geese. They were so far away I don't think she realized what they were.

Looks like you all had a great time! :D

It only takes 10 minutes to wash, dry and olive oil the terrible twosome; I don't envy your job of washing Keegan!!! ;)

;) s'ok

I forgot to mention that I actually think it is easier to rinse the soap off in the tub b/c Keegan gets a little squirrely ( imagine that! ) with the cold water and unless someone else is holding her which is rare since I live alone, she doesn't stay in one spot so I have to chase her. And sitting on the edge of the tub is easier on my back then bending over her out in the yard,
When I bathe Kylie I usually end up just sitting in the tub with her! :p

Sitting on the edge of the tub is alot easier for my back too. My two just stand there during baths, they know the easier it is for me, the easier and quicker it's over with for them! :p

Nala's actually ALOT better outside than in the tub. She doesn't really like the water in the tub, probablly because it's loud.

I must add also that I had my dad install a removable shower head when I would bath Shaianne so it is much easier to bath both animals with that then with a cup pouring it over them!!!

I so wish we had one of those. I can never get all of the soap out with just a cup, that's why I like using the hose. It would be much easier with one of the removable showerheads. :p
