No white Christmas for us this year. As I write this we are having a torrential downpour of RAIN and unusually high temps lately - up to 60 today! If this were all snow - YIKES! I was just wondering how many Pet Talkers will have a White Christmas.

We had a nice little (maybe two inches) snow last night. It is soooo gorgeous!

They told us yesterday we'd have 1-3 inches of snow... but the weather pattern shifted and all we got last night was a very light dusting. We might get a few more flurries today, but not enough to blanket the ground.

Looks like it'll be a green and white Christmas.... (well.. this is the home of MSU after all... :D )

:D :D :D :D :D LMAO!!!!!!!

This is the West Coast, otherwise known as the "Wet Coast". We have not had a white Christmas for years and years. It's always raining. Last year it snowed for about 2 hours on Dec 24, but by suppertime the rain had washed it all away.

Yes, we have a bit of snow here. Unfortunately, there's also black ice... so now I have to walk to see my parents, too risky to drive....

Yes.:) Finally it turned cold enough for the rain to turn to
snow. We have about 1 1/2 inches. It should stay until the weekend when warmer weather returns. I must admit Smokey
loves it & it really puts me in the Christmas spirit. Gotta go as
I haven't even started to wrap presents yet.

We are going to have a white Christmas! It is a perfect scene- frosty trees, clean snow covering the ground, and snow is lightly falling.:)

Nope! :D Looks like a green winter this year! All of our snow melted about a week ago, and since then we have green grass lol. I'm so glad because I hate the snow. Last year it didn't even start snowing until January.

LOL! So true! My socials teacher told us that we've only had 8 white christmases in the past 50.

I had the chance to go to Whistler a couple weeks ago. I guess that snow will keep me content.:p

We had over 40cm of snow from last week until today. It has been raining ALL day and the temperature has been in the plus's which means alot of it has melted. It is supposed to freeze over tonight (freezing rain - ugghhhh  ) and freeze rain all day tomorrow. So far it looks like left over snow which will freeze over tonight, making it a skating rink out there, everything so icy.

It'll be 65 and sunny here today. Not quite white.

Actually, it snowed in the backyard of one of the houses I'm dog sitting for - they ripped up a dog bed and the white stuffing is everywhere

I was about to answer no, and then looked outside. We actually got some snow. It was very little and only lasted for about an hour. However, it is still Christmas and it did snow.:)
