How can I type something with one of the fonts on my web page?
The HTML code to type anything on a web page is:
<FONT SIZE="2">XxxxxX</FONT>
Where '2' is the size of the font and 'XxxxxX' is the text you want displayed. Now, let's say you want to type something with the font 'Arial', just change the previous code to this:
<FONT SIZE="2" FACE="Arial">XxxxxX</FONT>
Where 'Arial' in FACE="" is the font you want to use. So, to use the font 'Acidic' you type:
<FONT SIZE="2" FACE="Acidic">XxxxxX</FONT>
Easy!

Do you have the fonts installed on your machine, or just downloaded? What kind of computer do you have - Mac or PC, Windows or Linux?

Same here.

Does anyone know how to use them, now that I have them downloaded?

After you download them, you should be able to go into My Computer (Or start >> settings) >> Control Panel >> Fonts. If the font you downloaded is zipped, then open it, and take the font file and copy it into the Fonts folder in Control Panel.

Another good place for fonts is acidfonts.com

Easy!

Other people won't be able to see the font if they don't have it on their computer as well.

Schlep basically got it. Unzip it, locate it, copy/cut and paste it to C:/Windows/fonts (don't know if it's different for you). Then open up a graphics program and you should be able to find it and use it.

Try this, start >> search. A box will pop up, type in fonts. You'll get a lot of stuff show up, but it should find your fonts folder whereever it is. Once you find it, it should tell you (at the top) where it is on your comp for next time :)

Ok, I found everything that you guys have said, but when I try to go into the zipped folder, I click copy, and then it won't let me paste it.

You can also try to click and drag if you can't get it to paste

Press that while I paste?

EDIT: I will try that.

EDIT again: That didn't work either. Meh, I give up too.:p
