We had secret santa this year and exchanged gifts last thursday. Tiffaney (water_junkie) got me and gave me the most gorgeous gift. It was a wooden box that her dad made and had a photo of my boys on the top with glass over it. It's gorgeous and the most thoughtful present I've ever received. The box is beautiful. Her Dad is a very skilled woodworker. That really is a gift that you will keep forever.

Beautiful gift, Ash. :) Those kind of gifts are the ones I love. My best friend gave me a giant birthday card (posterboard folded over). All over the card was a collage of all the times we had together. Like there's a pic of Remy Shand on it cause there's this insaide joke we have about him. Out of all the gifts I recieved, just her card meant the most to me. :)

:D I just love it. It's sitting on my desk in my doggy collection. I love it when someone takes the time to make a gift. I even believed her when she told me she needed a photo of my two boys to show her sister... :o now it makes sense.

What a very gorgeous box. Your friend was very thoughtful to have given you something so beautiful. I would say that you are very lucky to have a friend like that. Your dogs faces on the box are just adorable. I would say that that box is only to be used for the most precious treasures that your heart will hold. All the memories of your dogs. Merry christmas

I never knew that term until I heard it in the first Harry Potter movie! :o :o Then my cousin from BC says it all the time. I think its more of a British/Canadian slang term, because I've never heard it from the mouth of an American. :p I don't think its used very commonly here the US that much. We usually use the terms *cool* *tight* *awesome* and many others..........but not wicked. He he he

Really? I don't know anyone who uses it, other than Canadians and British! Oh yeah, I forgot........your family's originally from Canada right? No wonder. :p Everyone here says *That's TIGHT!* LOL

Pops, I think Americans used the term Wicked in the 80's. I seem to remember hearing it used back then. I use "tight" or "fierce" now, and I'm old! :p

The only time I have heard the term *wicked* used is in the L.L. Bean catalog. They sell *wicked good slippers.* I assumed it was a term particularly popular in Maine! What do I know! LOL!

Well here in Georgia USA we have used it for a very long time as I will tell my age 49yrs plus I have a 23yr son who keeps me up to date on all the new slang. But i still revert back to the 70's you know like FAR OUT LOL Merry Christmas to all
