This is one of LaurlG's Poems she wanted me to post it for her. It is really good. Please read.
Time:
So much time alone too much time to think
I sit here in the dark listening to the rain outside
Trying very hard not to think
I actually don’t want to think
Think about what?
I want my mind to go numb
Just for a little while
Either that or go inside a daydream world
I wonder if I could imagine crawling inside a raindrop
I wonder what that tiny little bubble of water would feel like
Then I hear the wind howling outside my door
I hear the wind brushing against the trees
Then I wonder if I can become the wind
It is very powerful
The wind is strong
Hurt wouldn’t even be able to reach my heart again
I can blow away all the badness and all those head games in my life
If I was the wind
The wind is very gentle at times and warm to the skin
Like a summer breeze
Gentle and loving it seems
Then I can give you soft creases on your skin
Like the gentle breeze from the wind.
I wonder what it would be like if I was the sky
I’d be close to the moon
I’d be able to be with it every night
I be close to the stars
I would even be next to a colorful rainbow
I’d be able to create beautiful sunsets
And sunrises any colors I choose
They would be perfect to no end
Pitcher perfect with no flaws.
I wonder what it would be to be a perfect white sandy beach
I be close to the starfish and the tiny seashells
I would be close to the most breathtaking creature in the ocean the dolphin
I’d be able to watch them continuously hear their love songs and see them play
I’d be close to the whales
I’d be able to listen to the sounds of the waves
Weather they are gentle or roaring with rage
It doesn’t really matter
Then the rain stops outside and my daydream begins to end
Slowly fades away
And I drift back again into reality
Back to my world where nothing seems to change.
