I was driving home the other night and heard this clunky metal on metal noise coming from what seemed like underneath the car......
I turned the radio off and listened for a bit more....
clunka, clunka, clunka..
I let off the gas and
clunka, clunka, clunka..
I could rule out the clunka, clunka, clunka as an engine problem...
Now my attention was on the frame and the tires...
Every so often I rotate the tires and do my own tuneups....MY biggest fear is to have parts that I touched fall off on the freeway...
I have been stuck on the median, at rush hour, in a disabled car......I can think of 2,000 other places I'd rather be.
I start to slow down and the clunka, clunka, clunka starts to slow down....I start to get that umcomfortable body flush and suddenly need to feel like I should break out into a cold sweat......my truck is going to explode.....
Until I remember that I had chucked an empty can of DIET SIERRA MIST into the bed of the truck.
The airflow over the truck cab has set the can to do a very quick and noisy clunka, clunka, clunka dance that sounds like all hell is breaking lose ...
Moral of the story?
Recycle.
