. . . here is a cheap Christmas toy that should provide hours of entertainment.

My cats enjoy playing in a large cardboard box, flaps opened outward. With a boxcutter, make some holes around the sides and tempt cat with teaser toys from outside, while he/she is inside! Mine like to scratch at the base of the box, so I also slide the wand end of teaser toy underneath the box, to further intrigue them.;)

LoL, yeah, mine won't play with an empty open box, but they will do whatever they can to get inside a closed box just to see what is there...

I don't even need to cut holes in the side. Bob will play in any available box.:)

Checkers used to let me drag him around the floor in a cardboard box... he's too 'dignified' (yeah, right) for that now :(
