Katie's First Snow...*Pics*

Well, it happened. We got our first snow. It wasn't a whole lot but enough for Katie to have some fun. She Loves It! She woke me up the night before at a little after 1am to go do her business and sure enough I opened the door and it was snowing like crazy. She hesitated for a bit, like...what is that stuff and out she went. Running around and sniffing like crazy. I knew she wouldn't want to come back in. I had to bribe her back in with treats and I had a hard time doing that. I had to wait til I got home from work to take pics. I hurried home, grabbed my camera and out we went. She just sniffed,sniffed and sniffed and then started sprinting around the yard like crazy. I knelt down to snap some pics and *BAM* she plowed right into me and tackled me in the snow...lol. I was laughing like crazy. Wish I could have gotten a pic of that. I laid in the snow for awhile cause she kept running around and pouncing on me. The neighbors probably think I'm nuts...lol. When she went out this morning and came back in she did not have her usual leaf or twig instead it was a nice icy chunk of snow in her mouth. I ran to get my camera but by the time I got it out she had already crunched it up and ate some if it and lost interest in it.

My Big Boxer Max loves the snow he puts his nose in the snow as deep as he can get it and runs so fast he thinks he a snow plow I guess LOL :D

Never, never say you're sorry for posting pictures. I know I love to see them and I'm sure a lot of other people do too. She looks so happy. This is her kind of weather. Mine do the snow on the nose trick too. It's so cute.

She is just too cute! I sure miss the snow. Seeing the grass peek through it kind of made me homesick for Tennessee. Just a little over three weeks and I'll be in snow! I'll be sure to post some pics. Wish Duke could fly with me.

As usual great pictures! :D Katie's face looks just like Grizz's. You should see Grizz in the snow. He loves it and he won't come in. He sleeps on the deck with his face in it. I don't understand how that can be comfortable, but he loves it out there. Grizz knows how big he is because when we go outside to bring him in he plunks his huge body flat on the ground and looks as us like 'common and pick me up!' I'll have to go over to my fiancés house later and get some more pics of Grizz; you will probably enjoy them :)

Hehehe....I would love to be able to see Grizz in the snow. I can see him laying down and giving you that look too...lol...Katie gives us a look too, kind of like...What are you, stupid? She loves it out there and I think she would stay out there forever if I let her. She loves the rain and the snow. She is just going to have to get use to the fact that she will always be my indoor puppy! You better not be trying to pic Grizz up....lol...in that one pic of you and him together, you looked like a tiny little thing next to him and I don't think you would get very far...lol. You know I'll be waiting for those pics. You better post some of him and throw in a few of Harley and Sylvia also.
