Pictures with Santa Day

I was at the shelter Saturday to help with the Pictures with Santa day. The guy that was supposed to play Santa couldn't make it, so I had to step in. :o

Thought I would post a couple of pics of me and the shelter dogs.

This is Big Boy - a beautiful and sweet Rottie that has been in the shelter a couple of months. We are trying real hard to get him a home for Christmas.

This is Rocky - he is a real love bug but has a great deal of energy. As you can see - he knocked off my hair :eek: He has also been at the sheter way too long. He just hasn't caught anyones eye yet. We are going to try to post this new picture on Petfinder. The one that is there is in his kennel.

Santa, I mean, Clara--great photos!!!
One of the shelters around here has the dogs posed for the seasons as well--they had them on bales of hay with pumpkins for Halloween, and now some of them are wearing hats and looking very festive for the holiday season.
I hope it helps these dogs out to be in such great pictures!!!

And you know I'm in love with that big boy--give him and extra hug from me, will you??

Rocky was such a wiggle worm when we first had him out that he knocked my hair right off my head and trying to play with it. :D At that time it is kind of floating back in the hood.

You made a great Santa. Thanks for sharing your pictures. I take my boys to see Santa at the shelter near us in Glendale, CA.
It's always a fun day and all the proceeds go to the shelter.

I am so happy that Rocky is getting a forever home for Christmas - he was one of my favorite dogs at the shelter and had been there way too long.
