I'm always fascinated to watch dogs interact together and their pack behaviors. I just watched a little drama scene take place while I paused from my work:

Both dogs had been laying in the hallway, but Tommy got up and went to his favorite spot under my desk and began circling on the blanket there to lay down. Tasha suddenly trotted in and ran over and snarled at him and he quickly backed down and with a moping expression went to the blanket behind my chair and curled up there. Tasha went over and with a wagging tail bent down and gave him a kiss as if to say "no hard feelings." Then she went and settled on the blanket under my desk.

In a few minutes, she decided she wanted to lay in the hall way after all so she got up and went to lay out there. Tommy watched with interest and when she was settled, he got up and went under my desk, did his circling, and layed down, then sprawled out with a content moan, obviously pleased he got the spot he wanted. :p

They can be so funny.
