Our new Christmas Stockings!

Ok, I couldn't afford to get the ones I really wanted this year so I compromised and this is what I came up with (they are home made). I bought Dollar Store stockings and used my iron on transfers and fabric paint along with a Christmas pin.

Anna I love them! :D Those are so much better than anything you could have bought! I love the personalization. I decorated Millie & Aneko’s with glitter glue and stuff, too. Ours don’t have their pics on them though. Really cool. :D

They are beautiful! It's great to have each dog's pic on them. Wish I had one like that for Duke. I've got a Lab one and I put his name in glitter on it.

Anna, I HONESTLY think they are terrific! You are very clever indeed! I bought Bella a stocking for her first Christmas with us in 2001 and this year I wanted very much to try and find the same stocking for Ripley. I couldn't match it exactly but came close. I cut out their names in felt and that's about as creative as I got! :) Here's Bella:

I didn't make their stockings. I bought them. :o The only thing I did was cut out the felt letters and paste them on. Anna is much more creative!!

Pam - those are adorable. I've not seen the pawprint stockings.

I am so craft inpaired it's not funny. I don't even try it anymore. Or if I do, no one sees it but me and the kids. They don't care if I mess it up. That's the best thing about doggies!

Those turned out really cool, Anna - Cost doesn't mean a thing - the thought and the way they turned out does and those should cost a lot from the creative way you put them together.

Heck, I just finished with my finals...
Still working 2 jobs and I don't even have a tree yet for Christmas.(Well, not really true...My husband and kids went up into the woods and came back with a "Charlie Brown" tree but it's trunk is soooo small and crooked we are having a heck of a time getting it to stay in the stand!!)
So, I think tomorrow after school we are going to go and look for a different one unless we can figure something)
But to get back on track....I just love those stockings!!!!
