He showed up a few months ago. We see him nightly, he now waits for us. He will not let us too near, but is beginning to talk to us. He's got beautiful blue eyes!

If that's the case, he was dumped and does not appear tame at all. Remember we've been feeding him on a regular basis. Usually if someone dumped their cat at the park, it only takes us a little time before the cat will come to us. This one will not do that.

Even though he is well cared for here at the park, it is a terrible shame that he has no trust. What a handsome guy, the kind who could find a home in an instant if it weren't for his fear. I am glad you are there to care for him ( and the others )

Java is beautiful! He looks like he might have or is a Siamese, especially with the blue eyes. He also sounds feral. Anyway of trapping and socializing him??? It might be worth the effort.
