I thought since it is December and most places have some snow by now, except Wisconsin (what's up with that), it would be neat to post your areas snow record. How much snow fell? When did it happen? And...if it was recently set, not back in 1837, post some pictures if you have some!! :D
Our snow record was set back in 2000. We got 49.5" of snow in the first half of December. The previous record was 27.9". I LOVED that year, it was soooo fun!! I think we had a total of 5 snow days at school, so I got to stay home and play in the snow. The snow did not fully melt until the middle/end of April- not kidding. Oh man, that was a blast!! Plus, that was the year that my Aunt Debbie, Uncle David, and Cousin Michael came over to visit us from England, so it was even more fun, because we went tubing and sledding together. My cousin and I went over to the neighbor's house and knocked off the 4 1/2 foot long icicles hanging on her gutters. I have pictures of what our house looked like with all the snow, and pictures of me and my cousin, but I get to them- they are in the safe. SO- I found some other pictures taken by other people.

Ah, I am yearning for another December 2000. So far this year, I think we got a total of 1/2"-WOW! :rolleyes: Uh, come on, this is Wisconsin for pete's sake!
