I really enjoyed today's Cat of the Day. Dos is so beautiful and sort of reminds me of my own orange tabby. You mentioned that he lays on your chest/stomach and pushes on you with his front paws and does a little dribble. Both of my cats do that too, but only my younger one (who is actually 4 yrs. old) does the little dribble. He will do that after I have been petting him for a while.) I read somewhere that "dribbling" is a sign of absolute complete contentment. I figured that is correct because he is sure one content cat. Looks like Dos has found contentment and happiness with you. Lots of love to him!! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

I love the photo of Dos too, and the love you feel for him shines out through your story - lucky cat, and lucky you! His "dribble dance" is him imitating the behaviour he would have used as a kitten, suckling at his mum's teats,- the pushing and pulling stimulates the milk flow, so he really is in ecstacy. Lots of cats do this, in the UK we call it "kneading", like you would do with bread dough. Some cats also suck their owner's clothing when they're doing this.

The story of Dos' rescue is heartwarming indeed http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif It is often said that cats choose us, not the other way around, so providence must have had a hand in putting Dos and his human together at the right place and the right time! Today's story really brought a smile to a hectic day!
