Please read the following site - It does have a somewhat happy ending, but there are still needs and a forever home is still needed - and yes, i'm talking to bug about that!

What a sad but yet very beautiful and uplifting story about the beautiful, beautiful Paco! Incredible how these creatures can endure such abuse and anguish and still be capable of such love. I cried through the whole story! As a surgical nurse, I can imagine well how painful and difficult the post surgical time is for sweet Paco. But with all the love and devotion pouring his way, he has no choice but to heal and become whole again. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif Please give Paco big, big kisses for being the BRAVEST boy! I just know his forever home is being prepared as we "speak!" And it would be my honor to help him repay the kindness and expert care given to him. With lots of love...Go Paco!!!

tats- isn't he just the cutest little thing! makes you want to curl up with him and make everything all better - after you whack his old owner on the nose (very hard) with a rolled up newspaper! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

Bug, may I call you Bug??LOL! Yes, Paco just melts my heart. Reminds me of a Dal. I've been trying to place since Dec. Her name is Beauty. Oh, these stories just drain me!! Such cruelty and worse....indifference. I can only take so many stories per week. I'd never stop crying! The previous post about the abuse done to the beautiful Springer resuce Maddie was one of the hardest I've had to read and accept. Let's hope that sweet, beautiful Paco knows nothing but happpiness all the days of his life. Thanks to people like yourself. Please, really, give him a kiss and hugs right on that precious face!

i never got through the entire maddie story. i started then cheated and went to the end. i knew i wouldn't make it through the entire story dry. lucky for me there's a box of tissue by my computer and the monitor faces away from everyone! I always thought i was just a crybaby until i found this site and found out that there are a lot of us who have uncontrollable tear ducts!!
Paco, oh that dear sweetie! lucky for him - he's in great hands and will be adopted by great people. i'm personally looking into adopting a deaf dal named windy - it all depends on bug and what she wants though.
