I have a picture of Jojo, our nine year old schnauzer, that I wanted to share with you . We almost lost her last year to pancreatitis.

She has been such a sweetie. She is the one that helped me housebreak Tiny, and she is very protective of Tiny.

Jojo's favorite toy is a small football . She likes her orange Vols jacket better than the rest of her clothes. I think she watches her dad.... Mahayana enjoys football. She runs to the door when it is time for him to come home . She seems to have a built-in Daddy alarm and knows when he is on his way home.

Cats are strangely drawn to Jojo. They seem to want to rub on her when they meet her. I did live at a place where it was hard to carry her out, because all the neighbor's cats would come running and start rubbing on her! She would keep trying to do her business, and they would keep following her!

Jojo has been such a sweet dog! She loves her mom, but her heart belongs to daddy.:)

JoJo, you are too precious!!:):) OMG! What a sweetheart! Thank goodness you won your battle with pancreatitis. What would the kitties, or your daddy, do without you! Of course, we know that Moms never get the credit due them;) I wish I could give you a big hug!:D

I thought that too about Amber's Katie, when I first saw Katie. I trim Jojo in the summer because her skin gets irritated from the heat. We think she looks cuter all fluffy too. Yes, I have three albums of pictures I took of her as she was growing up. I just don't have a scanner yet. I have been scanning pictures at Wal-Mart.
I have a picture of Jojo that was taken before Pudding passed away.

PS- Did you know that her choke chain is on backwards? well it is if you walk her on your left side anyways. If you walk her on your right then it is on properly. Just wanted to let you know!

I do walk her on the right side, but honestly, I didn't know there was a right and left way to put them on!

I have been using this collar since Jojo broke her leather collar chasing an armadillo.

Shelteez2, I had a sheltie before I got Jojo. My neighbor stole Poochie and gave him to a person in Rosco, Tx. I looked for days for Poochie.

As for the choke chain, we were always taught to make it in the shape of the letter "P" to make sure we were putting it on properly. It worked for me! :)

Hey Ann,
I don't get to see enough of JoJo, I would like to see more of her. She is so pretty, how old is JoJo now, I forgot. I am glad her and Tiny get along so well, and JoJo looks out for her. I guess JoJo thinks Tiny is her baby. ;)

I got Jojo from a lady in Sweetwater,TX that had puppies everywhere. Her house was full of dogs and puppies! Willie, you would have done like Mahayana and sat on the floor and played with puppies.:D

Hello, people! Just wanted to thank everyone for all these nice comments about "my" dog. Jojo is sitting in my recliner chair as I type this.

I noticed a comment by KYS about Jojo's natural ears. We have a some pictures of Jojo's father taken when we got Jojo. He has the "standard" clipped ears of the breed.

I do wonder why this is done. Do other breeds require cosmetic surgery on showdogs? When we got Jojo her tail was already cut off, and I have wondered what natural Schnauzer tails look like.

As my wife mentioned, we got Jojo to replace our Schnauzer-Beagle mix, Snoopy, who ran under a truck the first time she ever got out of our fenced yard. We like big droopy ears!

Again, thanks for the appreciations! amoore is a fine photographer, IMHO. Nice instinct for composition.:)

Tiny makes this pose all the time, as do the cockatiels.

Love that Schnuazer. They are neat dogs. We were thinking about a Schnuazer till we found Merlin. He just happened to come into our lives before we had a chance to even look at a Schnuazer.

Anathiona,Thank you for the compliment. It is hard to keep our yard green. I spend much of my time watering and trying to keep it that way because of the drought that has been going on for a long time.

Im hoping it will snow here so I can get a picture of Tiny and Jojo in the snow together this year. I might not be able to see tiny though if it was very deep.LOL!
