They are SOOO pretty! I just LOVE Akitas. They're one of my fav. dog breeds. Some day I want to get one. Thanks for posting the pics of them! They're real beautys!

Your pics are wonderful.I just love Akita's,of course my heartdog was an Akita.She passed a yr ago.I just put a link up with hers and all my babies pics under the free pics of your dogs on Dog general.I loved all of your stuff too.That candle was gorgeous.I loved it,everything was great.

Wow! So that is what a TRUE Akita is supposed to look like....hehehe. Rocky and Sheba are stunning! Rocky seems to have the perfect big wide Akita head. They have such plush coats and look so soft. Sheba is so beautiful. Look at her laying there all proud, bold and regal!! I don't think Katie will ever fill out like that. I know she doesn't have that fur. Her coat is thick but just lays completely flat. Seeing how Katie is only 8 months (on the 5th), I keep wondering if she is in her pre-teen gangly phase...lol...and will maybe fill out a little bit more. I couldn't love her and all her Akita faults any more than I already do!

I love Rocky and Sheba and you need to keep that camera out and take lots more pics. I want to see more of them!! I can't wait to show Alden. He is going to love them.

Ok,Ok..wait a second Katie!....Katie is here and wants to tell Rocky she is sending out lots of tail wags and slurpy kisses...lol ;)

Rocky says to tell Katie, he has a big male head and
it would look funny on her. HE likes her head just
the way it is.

Don't worry about Katie looking gangly,
Sheba was a skinny thing, and did not fill out till
age 3.

A store here sells those frames like that one in your picture--they are branching out, and I have seen some different breeds, but they have yet to get a Shiba Inu one--you know I'll buy it when they do!!!!

Thanks KYS,Kori was the runt but we loved her the same.Her brother is 12 now.His name is Kia our good friends have him,and he is a beautiful example of the Akita breed.He is her heartHe used to show.He is built like yours.Kori was so sweet and petite unless you tried to hurt us :) They are such wonderful dogs.She knew when I was sick before I or the Drs. did.She was amazing.
