Remember Sparky the Cocker that needed transport across Illinois to his new forever home? Well, Rottie, you sure did help him by posting the appeal on this board.
I forwarded the appeal to the US Tibetan Spaniel Rescue organizer, Deb...& she put it on their list. Penny, one of the tibbie people, stepped forward & was one of the people who drove Sparky. She also took Sparky to the groomers & got him clipped & bathed so he'd look beautiful for his new owners.
Tibetan Spaniel Rescue (US) has just sent me a lovely pic of Sparky that Penny took after his makeover. I'd like to share it with all the people on this board who were supportive of Sparky...but I don't know how.
Can I just forward the pic to one of you, or to Karen so that it can be shared with everybody who cared about this sweet little dog?
When you see the pic, you'll notice a tibetan
spaniel tail in the corner!

Angels3, I am so excited to see Sparkys
photo. What a small world we have after all.
We all owe a big thanks to the Tibetan rescue for their help and especially Penny for being so kind to have him clipped, groomed and bathed. Please thank her, she is a wonderful person and thank you for all your help, I wonder if the new parents know how much love and work went into Sparkeys adoption.OOP's I almost forgot Rottie who started it all on this board, thanks Rottie.

Sparkey is beautiful, those people who adopted him are so lucky. I think this is one of the nicest stories on this board.
A HAPPY ENDING!!!!

Rottie, every time you look at Sparky's picture, you'll know that he's sitting there at Penny's house... homeward-bound, beautifully groomed & with a tibetan spaniel to play with... BECAUSE OF YOU. Good on you for posting the original request for help for this little guy!

Sparky reminds me of a cocker I rescued and gave to my mom . Freckles (susage She had him very portly) lived for 9 years with mom. We rescued him at age 5 from a divorce and abusive family. He was the first in door dog my dad allowed. Good Luck Sparky Hope the new peolpe will keep us updated on his progress.
