I saw this message too late. Its 5:43 :( :( :( :( :( I am going to see if Kathryn is in her office and ask her if they can extend the date :( I really want to help with this.

I'm feeling so bad too because I couldn't get ahold of Kathryn. I was crying all morning thinking about this. I think I was too late and I sort of don't want Kathryn to call me back if it was bad news.

Don't hate yourself though. As much as we both think it's our faults, we really know who's fault it is. All those people out there abandoning, neglecting, breeding, etc that make so many innocent lives end up being taken too quickly in the shelter :( :( :( :( :(

Okay both of you, listen up :) You are both wonderful, sweet, caring people who have rescued a few dogs yourselves and helped others get rescued as well. Everyone here knows that you are trying your hardest to help out those senior dogs, but if in fact it is too late, please don't blame yourselves! It's not your fault at all. We love you and don't want you blaming yourselves for the mistakes of others. Okay? :)

You can't save them all. :( :( However, you have saved many. :) :)

Im afraid to ask but Bonnie the girl who sent me this letter wanted to know if you heard a reply from Kathryn ?????

No I never did :(

Sometimes they get really busy and backlogged there and it is almost impossible to reach them.

The good news is that most posts from the senior dog rescue list about dogs in Austin get a big response and most are rescued or adopted.

She sent the post out everywhere, I tell myself someone saw the post and they were rescued. :)

I think thats the healthiest thing for us to believe :) Otherwise we'd both be on the floor crying I'm sure. But don't worry, I really do believe those dogs are safe, because that list does get great response.

If you ever hear of other dogs in TLAC needing urgent rescue, feel free to email me or post here and I'll do all I can.
