Beanie Babies?

I have ones ranging for Christmas, which are out for decoration right now...:p

I get a Beanie Baby whenever I go somewhere on vacation or weekend trip. I don't know how I started that tradition, but I've been doing it for a few years now. It's rather nice because now each BB have their own memories behind them. I'll try to round them all up and take their photo later tonight :)

I used to want to collect them but never did. I have a goat named Goatee, a parrot named Jabber, and a rabbit named Hopper. My brother has 3 dogs and a bird named Rocket (we named our bird after him) and my sister has a few too. :)

Ha ha! I have them all over the place! They're some kind of addiction or something. They are cute and lovable and I adore every one of mine. I've got mostly bears and dogs. Here's one I got just a few days ago. It's called Snowdrift.

Glad I'm not the only one! :p I mostly have the bears and a few dogs. The ones I posted, aren't all of them. :o I have about twice as many there. :p

Yep, I used to collect them like wild "back in the days", I buy some occasionally these days. I have around 185 or so. They are all vacuum sealed in the basement. LOL!! :D

Wow! :eek: Julie, you have quite a collection there. I have <10. I got the husky one for my bday and I "made" my coworker game me a red doggie (i think the name is rover) and like 2 or 3 more and that's it.
My uncle was crazy about them, he put shelves on the wall in the guest room and put all of them in individual container. :o It was quite a sight.

Errrr....I *used* too. :p Someone named DAISY destroyed them all. I had the elephant, husky, and a few others. :p

You think? :eek: I don't think Daisy would listen to a bird...she would rather have him for LUNCH. :p Either way...I don't trust them with my Beanie Babies! It's taken me years to get that many! ;)

I have a ton--I think around 100 at last count.
A few years ago, when they were huge, I bought them all the time--I have the little McDonald's ones too!!!

I remember when it was such a big deal to get the "Princess" bear, she is purple and in memory of Princess Diana. People were paying $100 for them at a store downtown!!!:eek:

I waited it out, and paid $5 for one at Hallmark:)

YES my daughter collects them, she gets a big ty beanie for her birthday , and a smaller one for xmas, have you all seen the even smaller ones, there is a cute kitten with a xmas hat on, and a dog one too, retail for 8.95 here in nz, the others are 17.95, and the large ones 35.95.

The favourite one I got her this yr for her birthday is a delightful pink poodle called Bridget.

Make sure you buy the plastic tag covers, keep those tags in great shape, keeps their value more.

Snowdrift looks neat, I am tossing up whether to get her that one for xmas, or the reindeer, or the teddybear with xmas hat, or the kitten, ah decisions, decisions.

My mom and I collect them...we have *at least* 300...I'm betting more. They are in 3 huge storage bins in my closet. I'd take pics, but I don't want to drag those out. We collected all of those while they were so popular.

I still collect them, but only ones that I really think are cute. I have a few in my room that aren't in the closet.

Hmm...on my dresser there's a german shepard and dalmatian (with the flags), a collie, silver tabby cat, and a lynx. I'm too lazy to read the tags for the names lol.

I never was able to get the wolf and I wanted him! Does anyone have him?
