Chance behaved like a true gentleman today. I whispered to him that I was so proud of him. Almost brought me to tears. The press conference wasn't what I thought it would be at all. There were no tv news people there. And all the reporters were more interested in the new mobile vet clinic that the host had just purchased. There was only one pic of me and Chance taken. The rest were of the vet trailer. But, I guess it doesn't matter as long as she gets donations because she's helping me. I mostly just walked around the yard with Chance. No one hardly talked to me. There was a nice couple there and they both fed him animal crackers. I thought that was cute. Anyway, here's the pics.

When I arrived at the doggy day care, I saw they had bathed him and given him a bandana. I thought that was really sweet.

I had to have this one. Took lots of tries as he wouldn't sit still.

And this darling girl will be up for adoption soon. I must have her!

The press conference was for her and a cat, also. I wish I could have her. She's 8 1/2 and would be perfect for Duke. She's not an alpha dog. I already asked.

Oh, Chance looks so spiffed up & gorgeous in his bandana
and halter. :D He's a keeper for sure for some lucky person,
I can tell. Do you think he's an alpha type dog? It wouldn't
matter to me as Smokey's anything but.LOL. :) His playmates
are kitties. He's young & would be able to fit into any loving
home. What's the Huskie's name? She is really beautiful but
looks absolutely scared to death. Was it her first showing?
I'm glad you all received the media coverage. I do hope it helps
with contributions or adoption offers down the line.
