As I was walking back into work today, here's what I saw.........

Isn't he so cute?? I kind of snuck up to take a few pics before. He was waiting for his daddy to come out. And was stretched out all the way across the seat. Normally, these dogs go nuts when you approach the patrol cars. I found out later he had a no bark collar on :mad: But, he was such a lover. Came to the window and was wagging his tail. I wanted to pet him so bad but knew that could be hazardous.

So, I found out whose dog he was and asked him if I could get pics before he left.

Isn't he cute? And, I did get to pet him. He is such a great dog.

Those are great pictures of a working dog. Glad you got allowed to pet him. :)

Oh Val - great pics.

I must bring my video cam into the city. We have a guy here who brings his Blue Heeler into the city, and performs "How much is that doggie in the window" and the dog goes woof woof!!! They do the whole song!!

So fantastic!

They are from a farm, and this is their outing once a week!!!
Of course, money and bones flow from MY hand!!!

You're making me jealous! i had a shepehrd when I was a kid and am *dying* to have another one! they are so gorgeous! I wouldn't have been able to resist petting him either.

He sure looks like he gets the job done!!

How lucky you were able to meet his partner and pet him--I'm sure you gave him a big congratulations for protecting his citizens:)
