I like O Holy Night.

I also like a lot of the old Christmas Madrigals. I used to love to sing them when I was in school.

Carol of the Bells! :D We sang that song in choir two years ago. It was awesome. I was in the high part. I just love how the high, medium, and low parts blend together. The harmony is amazing.

So that would be it by a long run!

Carol of the Bells! That was the one that I could not remember the name of. It is a great song to sing in a choir, I really love the harmony in that song also. I was going to put it in my original post, but I couldnt remember the name.

Thanks for reminding me.:D

You know I did not think it would be that hard to find a full track of a full Choir singing Carol of the bells.

However, after 20 minutes, I found s few. Yea for me.:) This song still gives me chills, maybe it is because I got to sing it.

I included the other ones that I found also. Hopefully, thery will work I gave the direct links to the track.

Leave it to me to go overboard on the links.:o

This is the best one that I found of the whole song, with a full choir.

Morman tabernacle, It includes about a half minute of introductiontion and then about a half minute if the song, It's good just not the whole song.http://www.telarc.com/gscripts/title.asp?gsku=0552#tracks

Here is one from an all girls choir. It is very good, just doesn't have the bass:

Last but not least is a track for helping choirs practice and it is acapella and a single voice for each part.

Enjoy:)

As for more traditional Christmas music, I like Winter Wonderland.

Oh Karen, I agree! I could never pick one Christmas carol as a favorite. As soon as I think of one and think that it's my favorite, I think of another and another. Too many good feelings and memories with all of them. :)

Traditional one that I love is "I'll be Home for Christmas",
but a recent favorite is by the Dixie Chicks, "Merry Christmas
from the Family". The lyrics just kill me, especially in the
chorus. :)

Mom got drunk and Dad got drunk
at our Christmas party
We were drinkin champagne punch and home-made eggnog
little sister brought her new boyfriend
He was a mexican
we didn't know what to think of him
'till he sang "Feliz Navidad"
Feliz Navidad

Brother Ken brought his kids with him
the three from his first wife Lynn
and the two identical twins from his second wife Mary-Nell
Of course he brought his new wife Kay
she talks all about AA
chainsmokin' while the stereo plays
noel noel, the first noel

Chorus:
Carve the turkey, turn the ballgame on
mix margaritas when the eggnog's gone
send somebody to the QuicPac store
we need some ice and an extension cord
a can of bean dip and some some Diet Rite
a box of tampons and some Marlboro lights
Hallelujah everybody say cheese
Merry Christmas from the family

fran and rita drove from harlejin
i can't remember how i'm kin to them
but when they tried to plug their motor home in,
they blew our xmas lights
cousin david knew just what went wrong
so we all waited out on our front lawn
he threw the breaker
and the lights came on
and we sang silent light, o silent night

Chorus:
Carve the turkey turn the ballgame on
mix bloody marys cuz we all want one
send somebody to the Stop N' Go
we need some celery and a can of fake snow
a bag of lemons and some Diet Sprites
a box of tampons and some Salem lights
Hallelujah everybody say cheese
Merry Christmas from the family

Feliz Navidad

Holy night moves me everytime that I hear it.

When I was a little kid, I had this Christmas tape that told the story of the making of that song. It followed by children singing the song. I used to play it all the time.
