Well, while I was at school today, my dad let Simba and Nala out to go potty before he had a Drs. appointment. Apparently, Buddy had been digging, and Nala went to visit him by going through his hole, under the fence. Dad said he called her, and she came back under the fence soaking wet. She must have jumped in the pool!

Anyways, before I had heard about this, I let Sim & Nala out when I got home from school -- Dad was gone. I went out, it was nice out so I decided to go inside and get my cam out.
The hole wasn't filled in ( we don't even have any dirt on our side to fill it with, since it all goes on their side when he digs!) and when I came out, I see half of a HUGE Pittie body sticking out on our side of the fence!

I didn't want to push him backwards, back into his yard, because I think it would have been more dangerous forcing him back, than letting him come forward by himself. Plus, i wouldn't mind the visit, neither would Simba and Nala. :p

Seems like Nala liked him! ;)

Looks like they had a good time, and it looks like you need to make a permanent door between your yards ;)
Did you talk to the neighbours and see if it would be alright to bring Buddy over a few times a week for a play date? That might be a good solution all around and you could then have 2.5 dogs instead of 2 :)

It looks like she is trying to pull Buddy out. lol. That's like when Dusty and Roxy get Bob over here...It's a group effort.

LOL, yeah.. and the shovel on the side looks like she was digging FOR him!

We had that in front of one of the pervious holes he's dug, as well as we use it as a pooper scooper :p

Again just now, Buddy came back through the same hole, that the owner failed to fill in properly. When we took him back home (the owner isn't home) we went in the back with him and filled it in ourselves. We put sticks infront of it.... i'm sure he'll find a new place to dig though.

Poor dog's tail went under when we opened the gate to put him in his backyard, and he was as happy as could be in ours. :(

LOL, that first pic is too cute!:D Buddy is so cute!
At my old house, my next door neighbour had a little black and white dog for about a month ( ), I think a shihtzu. He would try to dig everyday into our backyard. Once he did come into our backyard, and he was sooo happy! He ran around and around in circles, lol. But the owners didn't really like us petting him I think. I would just stick my hand through to pet him through the fence when he comes and the owners would just call him back. I thought it was really mean for them to do. and the dog was really friendly too. But I don't remember why they gave him away.
I remember at that time I really wanted to keep him.:p

adorable pictures.
Poor Buddy must be lonely, and wants company.

We just got home from the dog park, and looked out the sliding glass door... Guess who we saw...... BUDDY!

Poor boy. I rinsed him off with the hose and my dad filled in his new hole.

Poor Buddy--it's obvious where he wants to be:)

Do they all play well together?
Maybe you could put a little "door" in the fence for him so they can all play??
I guess that would be a pain though, because then you are basically taking care of their dog.

Cute pictures!!

Awww...Buddy is quite the social butterfly! He looks like he's filling out nicely, tho. :)

His coat looks really nice.

Does he stay outside all the time?

Great pics as always. It would be nice if you had a little pup gate and could "invite" him over, instead of him digging to get there. But he might want to come over each and every time your kids are out there;)
