cockatiel WON"T take a bath

my 16 year old cockatiel,Lucy, won't take a shower or a bath....when i finally take him to the bathroom and sprits him i don't think he likes it.....i make sure the water is a good temp....i don't know what is wrong.....why doesn't he like talking baths or showers????:confused:

Instead of giving him a bath, why not just spray him down good with a spray bottle? The tiels I've met love that.

Does he really NEED a bath?
