i came home yeterday and got the best suprise of my life.....my mom told me a friend of hers has a blue and gold macaw that she has to find a new home for.her baby is crawling and finds the bird's tail to be a toy. she is going to give me the bird as long as i care for it.....DUH!.....lol.....cool huh.

Someone abandoned a blue and gold at my boarding kennel a couple of years ago.

I loved that bird! He was smart and funny and sweet, and learned an amazing number of words. He definately had a personality plus.

Be careful though, until you get to know him, they can do SERIOUS damage with that beak.

i am doing all kinds of research on blue and gold macaws day and night.i did some research before.(i've been wanting one for a long time)

I love Macaws ! Im so happy for you ! I have a friend with one and her bird is so adorable ! Please post some pictures when you get your new baby .:)
