The first thing I do every day when I turn on my computer (at home and at work--don't tell my boss!) is visit "Cat of the Day". Those beautiful feline and their stories always help to start my day off right! What a joy and thrill to see the boy who always starts MY day off right--my Jake! as today's honored feline! I can't wait to show his "Gram", as she too will be thrilled. Not to mention his Poppy, who is still asleep after working a "double" yesterday.

Jake's health continues to be excellent after our big scare in January. His brother, Spike the Bengal, is jealous of Jake's new-found fame as COTD, but I told him not to worry as his day will come!

For those of you who were wondering, "pounds pounds" should be 12 pounds.

Karen welcome to PT and thank you so much for sharing Jake with us. He sure was a darilng kitten and now is one gorgeous hunka orange kitty. We LOVE orangie males here on PT. I'm so glad Jake has such a good meowmie who helped him through his health problems. Sounds like he almost used up one of his lives, but God needed him here to spread more kitty lovin'. Have a wonderful day being our COTD!

P.S. How much is "pounds-pounds?" I think that's what my Mishi weighs .... :rolleyes: I tried picking my Big Boybee up this morning and almost threw my back out! :eek: :rolleyes:

What an amazing and uplifting tale of survival we are treated to this Sunday! Jake, I'm not surprised to read that you pulled through your very frightening health scare; you're one spunky and sprited feline with everything to live for! A kitty couldn't wish for more loving and devoted purrrents than your Mommy and Poppy!:) And I know that every day you repay them their devotion with your unconditional love!:) I'm so happy to know that you're back on all 4's and enjoying life to the fullest!
