Yep, it's me - back with more pics:rolleyes:

There are a couple of things I don't understand about these two furkids of mine:

Number one:
Why does Connor sit UNDER the TV and "watch" it:confused:

Number two:

They both have several soft beds each, in various rooms of the house, eg in the kitchen:

So why do they lie here???

Can it be too warm for them? In summertime, Filou and Tigris love open spaces for a nap and don't use soft beds or the beds in the cat tree -in winter they come back there:)

I can answer #2...Those beds are on the floor  , cats want to be up high :D

as far as the TV goes, maybe nothing good was on. ;)

That's the funny thing - they also have beds / blankets on top of both fridges and on shelves next to the kitchen! Ally USED to sleep in the basket on the floor (or on a chair next to it which ALSO has a cushion on it), but now that Connor has decided the kitchen table is the best nap place, she has also started lying there:rolleyes:

Cats must have some sort of secret vision. Ron "watches" the street all day long when the blinds are closed.

I know that it seems od , but with all the beds in the hotel , the Cats seem to want a hard surface to lie on.Or it is a strategis position to get Treats! Cats!

Lucky has alternate spots. Most of them are soft & cushy but occassionally she prefers a hard, cool floor. She loves to lay on my chest when I'm laying down.

The mysteries of life can be complexing at times.

I have to wonder why Nakita only watches TV when the Dr. Phil Show is on. Otherwise, she could care less about the TV.

Oh, and Nakita is never on the tables in my house. Unless I turn my back. :p

Cats to have a secret vision and Connor is enjoying the show very much, thank you.:)

I agree with Jen that cats like things up high, but as others have pointed out sometimes they just want to lie on a hard surface.

I was wondering that same thing other day. Bob and Joey have a nice window seat with a soft cushy pad. I look yesterday and Joey is laying about a foot away from it on a hard side table. I tried to get a pic, but she moved by the time I came back with the camera.

I would go with that:D

It looks like Connor is watching the reflection of the t.v. on the wall in that pic. There may have been a small bug or spider on the wall too. :)

My cats also sometimes love to lie on hard surfaces and they've always preferred their box beds to the more expensive cushy ones. When it's hot they love to lie on my glass dining room table even though they know it's forbidden. :)

No. 1:

Connor probably doesn't want to see all the bad news on tv... ;)

No. 2:

Yes, I think those who said it might be too warm could be right. My girls did the same during the summer, and now in the fall, they return to all their warm places. :)

#1....The speakers are in the back of the TV, right? I think that's what draws them to it anyway, so maybe that's what he's "watching". :) He sure is cute, whatever he's doing. :D

#2....That one's easy...cause they know they are "cat beds". They don't like toys and beds made specifically FOR them, they prefer human items and the price tags that come off them. ;)
