Do you see the big orange guy looking at the camera?

His name was Y.Lee and he was the perfect package of love and affection a girl could ever want. He adored people, tolerated and amused all the other cats, had true empathy and would not allow you to ignore him. He was gentle and felt like a stuffed animal when you held him (a heavy stuffed animal). I lost him to complications from diabetes in April of 2002 and no animal has ever come close to the sweet soul that he had.
THIS is what YOU need!

Now, everyone else post and tell about YOUR special orange boy so sirrahbed won't be able to resist the temptaion. ;)

Orange heaven! YES Oh my look at that big guy and those beautiful green eyes!! So sorry you lost that sweet fella:(
You guys are going to get me in trouble here! Hubby already thinks I am a little (lot) nuts that I sit here and giggle and ooh and ahhh over PT! I know the petshow tomorrow will also include animals from local shelters - so I will *casually* stroll by and see if anyone really needs me :D All of our cats have come from shelters or just happened by and stayed. That's the best kind to me!
Lets see...I just need one more cat box, another couple feeding dishes, economy size food and litter....nope hubby is saying no way!! Well we'll see.
Thanks Jen!! You have cheered my day.:)

In my opinion no house should be without one!!! Both of mine are very personable, kind, loving, and gentle. No descrimination here cause all my cats are wonderful, BUT there is something about the orange boys that makes them LOVE BUGS!!
Peanut Butter is a gentle giant. Loves to be loved and groomed. Takes up my whole lap and has the most wonderful belly to rub!

This is one big, soft, wonderful orange belly!! Notice he is curled up in my lap?????

Then there's Leroy. What can I say...He is a handfull of personality and the most loving little boy. Everyone that enters my house falls in love with Leroy. If it is not immediate I promise he will make it happen before they leave!
Look at that face!!!

This is a bad picture but take notice of the furbaby curled up in my lap!! This is every night!!!!!!

Now...Go get one!!! I would really be totally shocked if you were sorry later!!!
*chant* just do it, just do it *chant*

Sirrahbed, you never know. This is how I ended up adopting my Sky. I was at a cat show and just couldn't resist his charm even though I knew I already had 3 furkids at home. :)

Great pics Jen. :D Y. Lee sure was gorgeous and he sounds like a total sweetheart too. :) CCL, your orangies are gorgeous too. I agree that no home should be without an orangie. I'm so glad that I have my Sunny. He makes every day so much better for me.:)

You know that feeling from the other thread that sirrahbed wrote, is back again in this one. Hmmmmmm. Still can't tell what it is.:D

All of your babies are wonderful, you almost have me convinced, and sirrahbed found me a cat show in seattle next month. Not sure why I could not find it, sometimes I am fairly dense.

I have no pictures of orange kitties, sorry.:(

However, I will do my part.
just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it, just do it. :D

Oh YES! I have been following all the news about Sandy. No orangie here yet, but mayve one will find me yet:D We have checked three shelters so far and no orange males. A few kittens - but I wants an older cat this time - still raising two kittens. No hurry - it has to be just the *right* orange for me. In the meantime, I adore the ones here - like Sandy!!

PS Time to add Sandy to your siggy:)

yep, the right orangie will find his way to you.

We have kind of been looking for an orange, since we had to put Caramel, our nearly cat to sleep :(

Not really looking but sometimes things just happen. :D

Once you own a orange guy, your heart will never be your own! My Allen is my buddy and my house's manager. any job that needs to be done has Allen watching over you to make sure its done properly. He's decided that when taking care of Pouncer, he's the only man for the job - and he takes his job serioiusly!

Of course the Orange guy in the picture is Allen, the Grey guy is "his" Pouincer. Give in to the tempatation ond fall in love with an orangie!

Yes, I feel like I know Allen and Pouncer well:D I have only been "owned" by one cat in my whole life, although I have had dozens pass through, and that was my orange RB Bert. For awhile, there was a friendly little fellow who would visit our porch and my daughter (Sirrahsim, here on the forum) called him "Bertagin" - he came for awhile and then disappeared. One of these days I hope to be "chosen" once again!!
Thanks for posting Allen and Pouncer. They are both totally adorable. I love the way they are so obviously bonded and comfortable with each other! So sweet!!! I also think it is neat that you are in touch with Jen and were able to see his baby pictures!! How wonderful!!:)
As for orange, we had a rather long thread awhile back and it really seems to bear out that orange males DO seem to have a special personality trait for being affectionate and easygoing! Something genetic I guess?

Take it from me, a house is not a home without an orangie. ;)
