oh good, I get to post my .gif again!

http://home.comcast.net/~patti76/eclipse.gif

I took a series of pictures in 2000 of the lunar eclipse. Then I made this .gif.

This year it should be clear here, I'm going to try and take some more pictures. It should be better, I have a tripod this time.

I will be able to see it from my apartment window.:) It isn't cloudy tonight, and I hope it isn't tomorrow either.

Richard, will we have landed by then??? Was thinking it would be really nice to see it 30,000 ft in the air.

I saw it too, and it was cool.:D

Last time I will listen to the weather men. I had heard that it was going to rain or at least be cloudy, on the weather report a couple of days ago.

Anyway, whoever posted first in this thread tonight, I apperciate it. If it wasn't for the thread, I would have completely forgot.:o

I understand not being able to see because of the rain you guys. I miss alot of sky events in Seattle because of it.

I went down to the UW-RF observatory to see the eclipse tonight. It was cold, and I didn't bring my camera. But I did get a few pictures after I came home, right as the eclipse was almost over:

I almost forgot to watch it!

John and I were leaving the mall, I looked up, beautiful clear sky, and saw the moon :D
So we sat in his truck in the mall parking lot at watched it, very beautiful.

Wonderful photo, boscibo! I tried to take some photos of the last lunar eclipes we had. I had my tripod all set up so I could use a low shutter speed. The photos still didn't turn out very well :o John has a camera phone, I thought about attempting to take some photos with it last night, but decided not to. I'm sure they would've been pretty close to awful ;)
