From a US tibetan terrier owner:
Blonde Shaggy Dog - Missing from the Western Hills Section of
Cincinnati, Ohio

DESCRIPTION:

Spot is missing in the Cincinnati, OH area. He ran off on the weekend of May 26th when visitors let him slip out of a gate in his yard.

Spottydog is a 27 lb., 16" intact male Tibetan Terrier (if you are not familiar with the breed think of a blonde miniature Old English Sheepdog with a curly tail and a nose about level with or just below the average woman's kneecap. Spot was cut short last fall so his coat is about 6" long now. He is registered as gold sable and white but the
sabling faded into light strawberry blonde (or a bleached Winnie the Pooh look) with silver ear tips and just a little silver in his body coat. He has white spot on top of his head and into his facial fall, white collar, white chest, and on his tail tip. His his forelegs and part of his hind legs are a creamy white.

He is microchipped with a "Home Again" chip. When last seen he was wearing a rolled leather collar with tags which belonged to theowners' previous dog as Spot's hadn't come yet (so it says "Pepper"instead of Spot but with correct address and phone). There is also aHamilton County Ohio licence tag and a rabies tag on the collar.

Spot is cautiously friendly but not pushy with women and children -somewhat timid around men. Friendly with other dogs. Missing 2 of hisfront lower incisors (i.e. only has 4 lower incisors) .

His photos and description can be seen at the following web site: http://www.angelfire.com/me3/blynnj/spottydog.html

If you see him, please email [email protected] or
[email protected] or [email protected] immediately for telephone contact information. There is a reward for his return.

SPOT HAS BEEN FOUND...AFTER BEING LOST FOR 2 WEEKS!!! Here is the story in Sue's own words...& also her heartfelt thanks to you wonderful people who offered support, prayers & hope.

" Spot ran into my arms at 5:30 Thursday morning in amazingly good condition for
a "pampered show dog" who had been living on his own, outdoors, for over two weeks. The support from everywhere was quite wonderful - and helped me keep going until we nabbed him."
