I am thrilled to have learned that Rocky and Sheba
will be among 65 Akita's chosen for a
2004 akita rescue calander "MARS"

100% of the proceeds from calendar sales benefit the rescues of MARS Akita rescue who serves 7 Midwest states.
If anybody is interested in getting a

OMG!!!:D Congratulations Rocky and Sheba! Karen, you must be so proud! Those pics are fantastic! I can't wait to get my calendar!! Do you think Rocky and Sheba would pawograph it for me?? We're so proud to say "We knew them when!!";) Yay, Rocky and Sheba!! Aunt Sandra, Cody and Star send you guys lots of hugs, high fives and happy tail wags!! Woo hoo!!:)

What wonderful pictures!! I can't wait to order one!!!!!!

I just hope they don't get big heads about it, if Kito was in a calender I would never hear the end of it;)

Thanks you guys,

The calanders just became available yesturday
for ordering.
I'm going to place my order today. :D

I was told that each month contains 4-6 color pictures
of different Akita's. Rocky pic is about 3 x 4 and Sheba's
is about 2.5 x 3.5 I was told.

I think they will be delivering the calanders in Nov.
in time for the holidays.
I can't wait till I get mine so I can show it off at work. lol

Sandra! You are giving Rocky and Sheba a big head.
Rocky is already strutting around telling Sheba his
picture is larger. hehehe

Katie and I are so excited and can't wait to get our new calendar! We are so proud of you, Rocky and Sheba! No way they could turn down your pics. You are two AWESOME AND BEAUTIFUL AKITAS!!!!!

For those who might be a bit younger, this is from a song by Neil Sedaka (probably 1960's) but it sure fits here! (Now this song will be rolling around in my head all day!) :)

WOO WOO!!!!

We got our calendar today!!! We love it! So many beautiful Akitas! Of course we feel so honored that we know two of the stars. Rocky who is in the month of May and Sheba who is in the month of October. We are proud of you both. Thanks for letting us know about it Karen. It is definitely one of my favortie calendars!!

P.S..It even came along with a few nice info brochures and a couple of sample treats. Doesn't take much to make me and Katie happy. Akitas everywhere!! Love it!!!
