I made a thread like this before, I know but, I didn't feel like bumping it up.

What are you listening to? Post whether it's a song, the TV, complete silence, your pets -- Whatever it may be :)


I'm listening to Santana - Maria, Maria and some stupid football game on the TV. :p :rolleyes: :p

- mosque outside is playing the evening call to prayers
- I am TRYING to listed to Chantal Kreviatzik (excellent BTW - if you like Allanis and Avril you will LOVE her)
AND, last but not least.....
Conner howling from the guest room like he is being murdered.

What I wouldn't give for some earplus - my house is just SO NOISY!!!!!!!

Well, I can hear the Cleveland Browns playing football, the neighbor practicing on his bass guitar and my fan which is on low speed. The fan is on to block out Mr. Bass Player and the football game since I prefer silence when I'm on the internet.

Don Henley is GOOD!!!!

Re Alanis I prefer Jagged Little Pill to her later stuff. Some of Avril's stuff is a bit boring, but there a couple of REALLY good songs on her album, which haven't hit the radio as singles, and I love to listen to her in my car!

It's a bit like Belinda Carlisle - I HATE all her "pop" stuff from the 80's. but in 92 she brought out a FANTASTIC album called REAL. It wasnt a commercial success, but IMHO her best album to date!

My hubby bought me a Radio/CD for my car which plays MP3s also, so I have ripped some of my cd's to MP3 and made my own CD's for the car - I have about 10 Gigs of MP3 on my PC - but no downloaded stuff, just my own CD's which I have converted! You need CD's in the car - there is only 1 English Radio station here in Bahrain and it sucks!!!

You have NO IDEA!!! It's school holidays. Take a 14 year old son, and two daughters aged 13 and 12; a couple of their school firends and two hysterical cats, and the result is MY HOUSE. It's like a noise control experiment gone wrong!!

But I prefer it this way - when I'm home on my own I can't stand the silence - I always have the TV on, even if I'm not watching it!

I love that song :D If I still had Kazaa (gave us a virus and crashed the PC, leaving me 3 weeks without a computer :rolleyes: ) I would probably be listening to something from Simple Plan. :)

I love Ironic from Alanis. She's good...Avril...is not. :p
