I caught Marigold in the act of sunning this morning. I just love it when she lays there soaking up the rays, and when you touch her fur it's all warm and soft, and smells so wonderfully of warm fur.

Michael is the same way , when I open the blinds in summer! And Marigold is a true Flower of a Cat! Graet Looker , she is! Hello from the lost Cats!

Wonderful pics! Marigold is a real pretty girl. :)

Gotta catch the last rays of sunshine before winter - Fister does it too. It's fun to see in the morning, he moves along with the rays. :D

Awwwwwww, Marigold is just gorgeous, and I can just about feel her soft warm fur now!!! That last picture is especially beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing your pretty girl!;)

Beautiful! and now I know I'm not alone -- I too love the smell of warm kitty fur. Actually my very favorite scent is freshly-licked kitty fur -- so sweet smelling, damp, warm and soft .... silly me. :rolleyes: My two are also sunny heat-seeking kitties :D

Oh YES, Marigold is as beautiful as her name! The pictures are fabulous in quality as well - great camera I guess? Mine are all so...washed out. Thank you for sharing Marigold! Isn't she the one that snuggles on your shoulder??? Is she in the orange thread?? If not - how about a snuggle shot :D

Yes, sirrahbed, she's the snuggler!! She's more of a calico than an orangie though. The sunshine makes her look orange! :)

Anna, the pictures are wonderful!! :) I love how they (the cats and the dogs) can find a little patch of sunshine, anywhere, and relax in it.

Marigold is such a cutie! I like the one where she's having a nice big stretch. Nothing better than a good stretch after soaking up the sun for awhile.

Tubby loves laying in the sun too, and his fur gets down right hot after he lays there for awhile. Sometimes I don't know how he can stand it. :D
