FOURTH ANNUAL DOG-O-WEEN
AT THE GENESEE OFF-LEASH AREA
This year marks the fourth annual Dog-O-Ween fashion extravaganza on Saturday, October 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Genesee Park off-leash area, 4316 S Genesee Street (corner of S Genesee Street and 46th Avenue S).
This annual celebration for both canine and human supporters of Seattle's off-leash areas, sponsored by Citizens for Off-Leash Areas (COLA), will feature fun, food, and of course, fashion for our furry friends. Vendor booths will cater to the needs and whims of the most pampered pets, and celebrity judges will award prizes to the best-dressed dogs.
Other activities include a silent auction of pet supplies and gift certificates for dog-related services; a prize drawing for pet goodies; and a membership drive featuring a free gift with every new membership purchased for $35 or more.
COLA is a non-profit organization that supports Seattle's off-leash areas in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation. Proceeds from the event support improvements, maintenance and advocacy of off-leash areas.
