My puppies are about 2 weeks old and have runny noses. Is that normal?

Have they seen a vet? I would just immediately take them to the vet if there is anything suspicious going on. If it is something extremely serious, you'll want to catch it SOON.

Puppies can catch colds very easily if the temperature in the whelping box is not warm enough for at least the first 3 or 4 weeks. If they have runny noses all the time, this could indicate they have colds. Have you been using heat lamps or a heating blanket to keep them warm? They have a hard time regulating their own body temp until they are around 3 or 4 weeks. A good way to tell if the pups are warm enough is if they spread out over the whelping box. If they are huddled in groups then they are trying to get warm.

Talk the babies to the vet if you think there is a possibility of them having colds. They will need put on antibiotics real fast. Keep them dry and warm! This is very critical for little ones!!!!!!!!!!
