Let the Battle Begin (pics)

The object of this game as near as I can tell, is for Murph to maintain his position on the bed and to nab the toy. Oz will keep initiating the game by shoving the toy in Murph’s face, until one of those two game ender things occur. Maddie is the official referee. She has the authority to call the game, if it in anyway disturbs her sleep.

Hey there Oz - Bella here!
I see you gots to have some fun with the little squirt! HA! I live wiff a little squirt too and sometimes we play the Tug-O-War game too. I usually lets him think he's winnin' by allowing him to get in a coupla good tugs, but most of the time he gives up and I get the toy! HA! That Murph is kinda silly tryin' to scare you wiff the old "show your teeth trick." My liddle brudder, Ripley, (the squirt) sometimes shows his teeth to Dale, our new big cousin. If Ripley is on my mom's lap, and Dale tries to come up, Ripley lifts up his upper lip to show his teeth and tries to look real fierce just like Murph. Even the humans laugh at him when he does that! :D My human said to tell your human that you have some really super pictures here and she would like to see more! :)

Hi robinh!

Well Murph and Maddie are definitely intense about it. Murph about
winning at all costs and Maddie about getting in some major Zzzzzzzs.:)
Oz is so casual about it all. To him it’s just all about playing.

Hey dukesdogmom and dogz!

Yep they definitely keep me laughing. I love to watch’em outside. Murph’ll
stay on the patio and he'll make a step towards Oz, then Oz will take off running
around the yard as fast as he can. Finally he’ll make his way back to the patio,
where Murph’ll take one step and start the whole process over again. Murph
expends exactly zero energy, while Oz ends up exhausted with his tongue
hanging out.

He not only looks like it. He sounds like it too. Cairns make a whole
lot of growly noises, when they play. They’re very vocal, whereas Oz
is completely quiet. So I end up keeping an eye on Murph’s body
language, just to make sure he’s still in play mode. Although
I really don't think Murph would be able to hurt him.

Yep, Murph doesn’t scare me at all. He tries, but I know he loves me. He’s
my best buddy. Maddie on the other hand… Weeeelllll let’s just say I
try to give her lots of space. Women! They’re a quandary, eh? Oh… uh... present
company excluded of course. You look like you’d be loads of fun to play with.
I had the most wonderful poodle friend in agility class. She looked just like you,
but apricot. So I have a warm spot in my heart for all poodles now.

I’ve a friend who makes fun of Oz, saying he’s got spindly legs and
Barbie feet and can’t imagine how he supports his body on’em. Gonna

Hey I was going to tell you that the other night in agility
class, Sushi the Shiba started barking... Or... it might more
appropriately be referred to as screeching. :) Oh my gosh!
there were several of us that grabbed our chests, ala
Fred Sanford. Scared the bejabbers out of us. I have
never heard anything like it. I'd thought maybe somebody
stepped on her, but the handler said that was just normal
barking. Does Kito do anything similar?

LOL! Chester makes a variety of ear splitting noises while playing with Millie, too. Everything from squeals to alien noises to growls! I can tell when it gets serious though, the noises change and so does Miss Millie's reaction! :D
