Warning Darlin, Warning!!!! Run for your life! You're
falling victim to the Collie conspiracy. That cute lil' fuzz ball
you're playing with now, starts out this little:

to where you're even big enough to sit on'em:

But end ups up this big (It's like being in the land of the
giants):

They try to herd you around the yard (they'll even poke you in
the butt, if you don't set'em straight):

And before you know it, they're wolfing down their food and
looking to take yours too:

I won't even get into the Collie love nibbles that leaves slobber
all over your coat. Oh the Horror!! Get out while you can, Darlin!

Oh! I think I hear him coming. Gotta run. Just remember you
were warned.

LOL!

Good warning Murph. We've got to put those Collies in their place. If not, they'll just walk all over us, and we don't want that!
I mean just look at her stealing *MY* toy!

Just wondering, is Par's Oz a sable merle?

Par's Oz? LOL! I can already tell 2 Ozs is gonna get confusing.
I've already had to pause a couple of times when I see "Oz"
and go oh wait that's not my Oz, that's Foam's Oz. Let's see,
maybe we could go with Sable Oz, Blue Oz... or... Lil' Oz, Big Oz...
or... Blue-eyed Oz, Brown-eyed Oz?? eh maybe not...:)

Oh and yes, binka, Oz is a sable merle.

Great pic Goldenretrluver! You go Molly!!

Foam, Murph says to tell Darlin' to find all the wonderfully small
spaces in the house, that Oz can't fit. Then what you do is nip
him as you race by him and head for the nearest of those spots.
Once you're safely there, you can stick your tongue out at him.
Behind Mom's legs is the absolute best spot. :)

Ah thanks Kfamr! I thought once he grew into those ears of his,
he turned out to be a cute dog too. He was somewhat "deer"
looking, when he was a puppy.:)

LOL.

Par, maybe we can call Foam's Oz, Ozzy? or Oz #2? ;)
Hehe, yep Molly get's on Daisy's nerves a few times. Like today, they were running around the house (as usual) and Molly was trying to nip her. Daisy just turned around, showed her teeth and snarled. That was the end of that. I'm surprised they still love each other! :D;)

I really think I need to get her into an activity...or something. But, if afraid she won't want to do it, because she is VERY timid. Poor girl, I've been trying to get her well socialize since Day 1, and it has helped a ton, but the shyness is still there. :(

Maybe if we get her, her own "Collie playmate" she'll losen up? Hmmm...:D

Hey Goldenretrluver!

Well with some dogs that's just what their personality is
and there's only so much you're going to be able to do to change it.
You can change behaviors, but you have to be somewhat
accepting of their personality.

Maddie isn't shy, but she's just never been athletic. If I
took her on a walk, I'd always end up carrying her back,
because she'd poop out. She never had any desire to
jump things. I could not get her to catch anything, even
food. She'd let whatever I threw at her, bounce off her head,
then she'd get it. She would fetch and attack her stuffy toys
and if I took her to the beach, she'd chase the birds
into the surf, but that was about the extent of her activity.

She was so funny when she'd play with Murph. She'd sit
in the middle of the yard, wait for him to dart towards her
and as he darted away, she'd latch onto his tail and he'd
drag her around the yard. Or when they wrestled, she'd
be laying on her side and would just bat one leg at him
from time to time.

She's definitely got a couch potato attitude and would have
just been miserable if I'd tried to drag out to something like
agility. Well she would have loved meeting the people, but
she would turned her nose up at jumping and climbing over
things.

Hehe. Silly Maddie! :) Oh, I am very accepting of her personality. I still love her no matter what! Collies do tend to have that "shyness", but unfortunatly, Molly's could have been avoided. Her breeder wasn't exactly the nicest person to her, but I won't get into that. I have an aunt whos friend owns horses, sheep, chickens, and a few others. I always wonder what Molly would do if she saw them...she does love to herd. Oh well! Maybe I'll introduce her to them someday. :)

Darlin I hope things don't get too tough for you having that collie around. Make sure to show him you're the boss while he's still little. :)
