Florida Pettalk Meeting Update!!! Please Look!!!

Okay, it's coming down to less than a week away so I need to know some definate info.


1. I need to know who exactly is going to be there.

2. I need to know when those people will be arriving(day and time). Also how long you will be staying.

3. I need to know a contact number for those coming as well I will give a contact number to them.

4. If you need directions please PM me or email me (info in profile).

5. I need to know how many dogs each person is bringing.

6. I need to know what you would like to contribute to the BBQ.

7. What kind of item it is you like to eat (ie potato salad, hot dogs, hamburgers (w or w/o cheese), fruits, if you need vegetarian food, chicken, etc.) just for ideas.


I NEED to know all of this info by TUESDAY NIGHT at the latest! :)

This is so that KayAnn and I can plan accordingly for little gifts, food, drinks etc. As well as anyone else to plan accordingly.

Please contact ME via PM or email. I will be more likely to receive things by email since I check it more often at home and work, but will check both when I get home.

I'm going to be there with one dog. Also, are there any plans for Friday at all? If not, I would like to save some money and just arrive on Saturday. What time are we getting started on Saturday? I might just come over Friday afternoon. That might be more fun anyway. I could shop a little and all. I'm so looking forward to this!

We only have things planned for Saturday. Although I have a few places I could recommend you go to for shopping if you would like. I don't think we will get together until about 11am. This was it's a little bit before noon and th park closes around 7pm because it gets dark soon after that. We wouldn't even have to stay that long. Even if we did 8 hours should be sufficient. :)

Friday night also KayAnn might want to meet up, I might be able to but no promises....so It's up to you when you come. Just let me know what you get a chance :) Thanks!

I could say forget the concert :p I'm willing to, although Cathie may not be happy. She said she'd take Jenny if I didn't want to go. I dunno, I'm not really into anyone who's going to be there anyways.

If everyone wanted more time, we could meet a little earlier. I can't stay too late because I've got to work the next day and get up at 5am :( So, I'll probably be leaving around 5. If this helps any.

I just found out there is no way i can go anywhere from 11:15am on throughout the day. I am however able to be there if it's earlier than that.....so if you guys want we can go to the beach earlier and then I'll help get settled at the park and then head on out.... :)

The thing with the whole schedule makes me mad, because my supervisor was on maternity leave and now she's back. I have had this request in for so long, but she deleted the email I sent her....so she said she has no record of it and I can't switch the days around. grr... :rolleyes: Soooo...I will do the best I can....and I will definately make sure I am off next time....and if not I will call in sick!!!! lol

Do *YOU* have a COPY of that e-mail in your SENT File?

Print off a copy of the original or FORWARD the original to her -
the Copy or Forward will have the Date & Time it was originally sent.

This might help her to change her mind.

Thanks...I tried that today and she said that everyone else already has their days off and cannot switch. The city doesn't want any overtime nor shortages....hmmm.....well I will atleast be there for the morning! :)

If we go to the beach all of the dogs have to be on a leash. If no one is really there and Duke won't run off then it will be okay to have him off the leash, but what KayAnn and I usually do it bring Honey and Nala with a 20 foot leash....enough freedom, but we can still grab them! :)

As Duke's never been in a situation like that, I wouldn't let him loose. I've got a longer thing that is made for lunging horses that I can bring. That should work fine. I think it's 6 feet long. He won't get to run there but he can at the dog park :)

Well that sucks! I'm leaving my house about 2 or so on Friday so Duke and I can get settled in. Then, I don't know what I'm doing. I started just to drive on Saturday but didn't feel like getting up super early. I do that enough with work.
