It isn`t as nice, or as big, as I would like to get her but it is the only one I could get where I can spread the cost over time. (And No, I can`t make one, I am so no good at anything like that!)
On with the pictures.

Ebby reads the instructions
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid81/p88104d36650a19c4b93710f17be2c66c/faefb79c.jpg

Then sits on the windowsill and supervises

Once it is all fitted together the next thing is where to put it.
Here might be ok...

hmmm, better now you`ve added my scratchpost..
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid81/pe223d6dcf591a8f982cd1d57e0b9afee/faefb756.jpg

Not too sure though, could you try somewhere else?

Now that`s better!

That is a great cat tree and Ebby certainly approves.

Gosh Ebby is such a sleek beautiful cat. I love black cats.

Today I decide to tidy up the corner, and, because I got the vaccum cleaner out, Ebbs decides to go downstairs out of the way. I went down to see what she was doing and found her perched on her old platform thingy that I`d brought down a few weeks ago.
She has laid on it before but today was the first time I had caught her sitting looking out of the window. :)

And when I was all finished upstairs...
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid82/p32c4717c0aadae60fbe3b84c690f0c70/faee6017.jpg
She totally ignored it and went to sleep on my bed!

She did give it the once over this evening though...

....and I am hopeful it will meet with her approval.....eventually!:D

That looks like a fun tree house. :) Isn't it always this way with our kids, we are more excited than they are about new toys. Also, they like playing the empty box too.

I think it is a great cat tree and I think Ebby likes it too. (but you know cats, they can't let you think you did anything right).
And I love these curtains>>>>>>

Thats a GREAT cat tree!! I would love to get one of those, but they are pretty expensive. I fantasized about building one, but I think it would be quite disastrous! Maybe I will get my guys one for Christmas.
That one you have there is very nice. Can I ask were you got it from?
BTW, Ebby is very pretty!!:D

Way to go, Ebby! That is a very nice tree, I'm sure she will take to it very soon if she hasn't already. One thing I noticed about your placement - maybe spin it around so the tallest perch part is closer to the window? My cats didn't really use the tallest perch part until I spun my tree around so the perch was up right close to the window. Of course, now I have to wash the window more often because the cats steam it all up with their breath when they see the birds outside!

What a great cat tree. I too have been thinking about getting Rascal one. He loves to sit on the top of one of my chairs to look out the window. Now the top of the chair is a mess.

I hesitate to get one because they really are expensive......and I always wonder if he will use it.

Chris there are never "too many pictures" never, never!

Ebby will probably show typical cattitude and only use the new tree when you can't see her. It took over 3 weeks to catch my Noodle taking a snooze on her new tower.

It is probably a rule in the kitty kingdom "The more they spend on the cat tree, the longer they have to wait for results!"

Ebby is very beautiful!!! :D :D :D
I am sure she'll fully appreciate her new cat tree in no time...by the way, all those toys in the box next to the cat tree: do they belong to Ebby?!
;) :)

Great pictures...my cats are also jealous. I would love to get them one, but right now they are just too expensive.

"I love how cats know when something is immediately theirs!"

Admit it...we work for them. We are only put on earth to entertain them and buy them toys:D :D . I am just happy mine let me stay in the house and sleep in the bed....I think it is because they don't have the thumb and can't operate the can opener (yet).:D

That is a great cat tree, and like Jen said...a cat can never let you know you did anything right. I have 2 cat gyms and depending on each one moods, sometimes they use it and other times they ignore the gyms for months.

I think Ebby is beautiful....I too have a thing for black cats, there is something intriguing about them.

Great tree! My Inka would certainly approve it, as it is higher than hers:) ! Although she keeps falling down of everything (that poor balance of her :( ) , she usually chooses to go and sit as high as possible   ; Cats!!!! :D

Chris,
I can't believe this is the same Ebby from months ago...out and about, exploring, sleeping on your bed! I know in time she will make the cat tree her own. What a great gift for Ebby!

My thoughts exactly! Is she sleeping with Bob yet (I'm jealous!)

Thanks everyone! I haven`t actually seen her use the tree today but I do know she was up to something last night/early morning because her toys were off there and all over the place when I went in her `apartment` this morning!

Yes, she does seem to have made herself at home! :D Still an enigma to me though, sometimes she is out and about a lot and other times she hides herself away most of the time, and there doesn`t seem to be any rhyme or reason to her behaviour either. But, as she is my first cat that could be the norm for all I know!:D

Sara, no she is not sleeping with Bob :) here they are in the same picture though.....

....not exactly togetherness! Truth is Ebby doesn`t like Bob much at all, and Bob, well, Bob is Bob and just wants to play. Not a good idea!:)

Lorraine, I got mine from a catalogue company...I am not sure if you have the same sort of thing in your country... I have an account with them where I pay for things over time, payments divided by 20 weeks or 38 weeks and sometimes longer dependent on the price(s) of the items, payable monthly. No charge for credit and as I am an agent I get a small commision too. (The end cost of the tree works out at £35 -around $52- not terribly expensive but still a great way to get deeper in debt, The best of it is this fool knows that, and still does it!!:o)

Gini, I was, and still am, bothered about that too, but fool that I am I still went ahead and got it!:o

LOL! As well as being Ebby`s apartment the room is grandaughter`s playroom come storage. It really does need sorting out, some of the stuff she is way too old for...except the stuffies, I love them, they are staying!:D

What a great cat tree. The blue looks great next to Ebby's gorgeous shiny black fur. :D If she likes catnip you could buy some catnip spray and use it on her cat tree to entice her to use it more. She looks pretty happy to me and I'm sure she appreciates the tree very much. :) My cats love their trees and use them daily. :)

Gosh Ebby your mommy is good to you! What a super duper cat tree you have! I love the picture where you are doing the big stretch http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid81/p1978aebc2e513e5ef11da95a1829d21b/faefb78f.jpg

and also the ones of you in the window. In my mind a window is just a window until it has a cat in it. ;) Chris we could NEVER get tired of your pictures. Thanks for including Bob too!

Thanks Tracey & Pam!:) and Tracey, though I did put some of the dried catnip on there - which she likes, I think that the spray may be more effective, thanks for the idea!:D
